@tabletalkwithcarmen Did you know Sunscreen expires!?! I learned the hard way in high school and got really burned after spending the day at the beach using well expired sunscreen. The FDA recommends tossing sunscreen once it reaches the printed expiration date. Check the date on your sunscreen stash. No date? It's considered "expired" three years from purchase date. When choosing sunscreen, I look for Mineral based sunscreen AND Non-Nano zinc. Non-nano zinc is the safest option for both our skin and marine life & coral reefs. Non-nano means it is not small enough to penetrate the skin and enter our bloodstream. Zinc oxide is a broad-spectrum blocker, meaning it protects from both UVA and UVB rays 🌞 Since sunscreen expires, buy what you can use within the expiration time frame to #reducewaste My go to sunscreens for both myself and 3 year old gothinkco SPF 50 (we use thinkbaby- lasts 80 mins in the water) and beautycounter SPF 30 (lasts 40mins in the water). A face stick is a must with little ones, quick swipe, rub and done. Don't forget to reapply!
