Does not hold pee at all. My baby literally peed on the floor at the public swimming pool how embarrassing!!!

Unlike regular diapers or training pants, they provide just enough absorbency and protection against leaks in the water, particularly BM leaks. They also won't swell like regular diapers because they do not contain the same absorbent gelling material (AGM). We only use this swim diaper brand. It's great for any water activity. Unclear how well it holds in fecal matter or anything of that sort, but it seems like it will do the job of it's on the solid side.

People are completely missing the point of a swim diaper. They are only meant to hold solids. They are for swimming and therefore cannot absorb liquids, if they did they would be the same as a regular diaper. These are great when used correctly. Put one on when baby is about to enter the water.

These pampers are terrible. They did not hold anything, water or urine. A waste of money. I let my daughter use them for her dolls to make use of them. I had better luck letting her get wet in her normal pamper swaddlers pampers. Do not waste your money.

The amount the pants will hold depends on the type and level of activity in the water, and the fit. Babies can outgrow the absorbency before they outgrow the fit of a diaper or pant, so the weight range on our packages is just a guide. Choose a size that does not sag or gape around the tummy or legs. A good fit will help prevent leaks. We also know that at times the inner cuffs may stick to the inner lining of the pants or get tucked in around the top of your baby’s legs. We've found that running your finger around the waistband and cuffs sometimes helps. The leg cuffs should wrap around your baby’s legs and bottom like underwear. It's okay, not my favorite. Doesn't swell, but water still manages to get in and that's without my daughter going in the water, just playing with a water table and splash pad. Will probably try out a different brand next time.

Honestly, they do the job. And the price is fair - we’ve been using these for my 2.5 year old for the summer and so far no complaints at all. Would recommend. Just don’t expect them to hold your kids poop and pee like a regular diaper. And that’s okay!
