Allied Home Medium/Firm PerfectCool Thermoregulating Pillow

Definitely not “medium/firm.” This pillow light & fluffy and easy to smoosh when any weight is put on it. The “PerfectCool Thermoregulating” works well. Description change needed.

Lasted less than a year. Did not hold loft.

These pillows are totally flat! I left them sit out for 24 hours to puff up like it says to do but they're just junk. You'd get more support and comfort from a folded up blanket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Tempa Sleep Pillow a couple of weeks ago and have been sleeping on every night since I got it. It is so comfortable. It stays cool, and it keeps it shape and doesn't collapse like others I have had before. One of the best pillows I have ever had. Love it!

Literally I would take other pillows stack then on each other and yet never felt comfortable. The quality of the pillow is almost as if they took it from a high end hotel and placed it under my head. I will definitely purchase more! Did I mention it keeps it shape. Absolutely amazing. Would recommend to anyone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first impression I had when I let the air out and the pillow fluffed up was ‘oh no, it’s crunchy…’ It sounded noisy like a hospital bed, compared to the kind I usually get. How can this be a ‘sleep’ pillow when it sounds like a potato chip party? However… I noticed that this was largely due to a strong hypoallergenic fabric. Once I actually got a pillowcase on it and fussed around with it a bit, it definitely wasn’t too noisy. The pillow stuffing is so thick, almost too thick. Ugh, I’m going to sink into this and it’s going to swallow me… but no. Another great thing happened when I laid down and it’s that this pillow is sturdy. As a side sleeper that doesn’t like pillows up on my nose, this actually gave just the right amount of plush and support. Not easy to find when you’re broad shoulders. Also, it’s perfectly punchable. I don’t mean to say for stress relief, although that’s not ruled out, but if you like to punch pillows into personalized shape, this one complies; you can bunch it or easily pull it flat again. It’s not exactly a cooling pillow either, but it never got hot like many standard pillows do. On first impression, I was feeling 2 maybe 3 stars but after a few nights of using it and really testing it, it’s actually one of my favorite pillows and ends up stabilizing my hips between my legs as much as using it for my head. This is definitely a pillow that creeps up on you with its positive qualities. Although I love my memory foam pillow, this is the other pillow I am guaranteed to use every night. Some things are definitely worth a real try and this is one of them.

I'm a large adult male side sleeper. I like a pillow that cradles my head but doesn't lift it too much, since my arm is usually underneath. This pillow is perfect for me. It has a softness similar to a down pillow, and is squishy enough to make a catcher's mitt shape around my head when I'm nestled in. Other reviews noted the crinkling sound the cover makes. I would describe it as similar to a winter jacket when balled up and used as a pillow. In my case it's not a problem, but I can see how if you're a light sleeper that could be a bother. I'm particularly happy about the value, as I've paid much more for down pillows.

I would not call this pillow a “medium to firm”, it is incredibly soft and has zero firmness. It would be fine if that were the expectation, but I prefer medium or firm pillow and this is not it. The pillows fabric is also very loud, even inside pillow cases, making the first night very restless. The pillow also doesn’t really provide a sense of cooling. We’ve now been using for a week, as we wanted to give it chance since we spent a decent amount, and my husband has decided to stop using and I’m also contemplating. I would not purchase again and I’m honestly pretty disappointed for the amount of money paid, I’ve had way better quality pillows at cheaper prices.

After putting a pillow case on it no longer felt cool.

This was one of the best investments I've ever made. I have never put much thought into a pillow before this purchase and I'm glad to have picked this one. I love the amount of fill the pillow has as it's the perfect amount of support for myself. Now as a hot sleeper, I realize these pillows aren't the ONE thing that's going to keep my entire body cool during my sleep however, these feel really cool and i love them.
