Bought this in July 2022 and it finally gave up the ghost last week. I read the reviews about bad quality but still decided to purchase, so that was on me. It was also an absolute beast to put together as a single woman. Last week, it ended up cracking on the side of the frame, but some of the slats had broken before then. I added extra slats as support so I think that gave it another year or so of life it wouldn’t have had otherwise. Moral of the story, don’t waste your money. A very pretty bed but it was wobbly from the beginning and I was constantly afraid of splitting it, which finally did happen!

I have had this bed for slightly over a year and the front leg broke when I simply sat on the bed. For reference I only weigh 125 pounds. The bed is completely unusable as the wood has cracked. Poor quality. Stay away!

Horrible process trying to put the bed together and the back rails don’t fit fully so they just hang.

I have had this bed less than 2 years and it’s already having to be replaced. The frame on the sides has separated, and the supports in the middle of the bed are a joke. I have had to repair this bed numerous times and it never helps.
Wish I read the reviews...

I wish I read the reviews before buying. The bed arrived a little chipped and slowly broke more and more over the past 2 years. I now have to hire a handyman to fix it because my headboard randomly snapped on the side. Aesthetically pleasing but not made to last, unfortunately. Going to do what I can to keep it around!

I absolutely love this bed!! There was one screw hole that was stripped prior to us even trying it. Otherwise it all works great. It had several parts & screws. etc. and takes quite a bit of assembly. Beautiful product!!

This was kind of a nightmare of a buy, but I've wanted this style for a while and hated my metal frame so I treated myself to this bed frame. I'll start with saying the quality is not great (to be expected at the price) and the manufacturing is pretty poor on this. However, it does look nice when it's finsihed. The first one I ordered had a wood split almost halfway down one of the frame ends. I returned that and bought another which was a huge pain to repackage and haul 88 pounds of wood. It would have been nice to be sent a replacement part instead considering the whole thing will be wasted due to one flaw. The reviews say to use a drill, the manual says to not. Save your hand and wrist: use a drill. I hand screwed with a screwdriver every single screw and the center of my hand was bruised for a few days. If you don't want to use a power drill, at least use a ratcheting screwdriver lol. I didn't use a drill at first because I was worried about splitting the wood, seeing some the reviews state the quality of it. Honestly just go slow. The drill I was borrowing wasn't the best so it worked in my favor. I did end up putting it together incorrectly which was entirely my bad. i used a powerdrill to deconstrust and reconstruct because I could not be bothered to hand screw again. I wish I had done that from the beginning, because there are simply too many screws to not call for a power drill... Things I've noticed: A lot of the drilled holes were not lined up well at all. Also, you are drilling holes, they just mark them. The marked holes are not lined up well, so good luck. One of the spindle supports on the left side was drilled so poorly that the bolt would just fall out. I deceided to just ride with it because I really don't want to do the process of repackaging and returning and buying a g a i n. It made putting together the headboard really annoying, but it got done. I don't really understand why the slats couldn't be on a slatboard or the kind that roll out and you just have to worry about securing it. 24 slats and 4 screws each row all hand screwed is just wild. The wood is pine but is finsihed to look "oak". The center support system is unfinished pine which means I expect it to have issues down the road with splitting or snapping from a slat or the center rail. A friend of mine has the same frame and had that happen to them. Many of the slats are cut imperfectly, doesn't really matter since they go under the matteress but it does worry me with how some of the screws had to fit closer to an edge of the support frame on any side/on the center rail. All in all, it looks really nice and I do really like the style, but I am worried that it won't last as long as a bed frame should. If you can afford to pay a premium for the same style, you should.

Love the look.. 3 hours and two people and not a lot of pilot holes. Finished product looks great but would probably have to move as 1 piece. I would recommend purchasing. but be forewarned on how much work is in assembly.

This bed has given us problems from the moment we put it together. It wobbles, its flimsy, and despite tightening everything and even adding more supports, still feel like it will fall apart the moment we get in it. I thought I was getting a great deal but it’s been a gigantic headache.

The bed is okay. The price is good, but the quality isn't great. I would not recommend it if you are concerned about the weight limit. The bed wobbles when I am trying to get out, and I anticipate it breaking in the future.

absolute nightmare to work with. I would rate this less than one star if i could. this came missing pieces, missing hardware, almost all of the pieces were mislabeled, and there were no instructions. places where there were supposed to be pre-drilled holes had none. this is an evil thing and i wonder what sin i committed in a past life to be subjected to the building of this bed frame.

It’s super cute but a nightmare to build. My boyfriend and I both were using drills, otherwise would not have been able to put this together.
