STAUB Cast Iron 4.5-qt Perfect Pan

Great item for your kitchen. Very versatile for sautéing and frying. Very easy to clean.

We cook a lot of pasta and Mediterranean dishes and this pan is perfect for the sauces we use and shellfish.

One of my favorite pieces. I never use the rack thingy. Easy to use, not too heavy to wash.

Pre season cast iron wok is very good for day to day cooking, very easy to use and maintain.

Great addition to our Staub pans and pots. This wok looks amazing, and it is not as heavy as a regular cast iron pan.

I finally got this perfect pan, and I love it. This is way lighter than I thought, so good for everyday use! Perfect for deep frying. Highly recommended :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a nonstick wok pan that I had been using for years and had to continually replace. I also wanted to start moving away from using any nonstick products. This is my first Staib product and this pan has exceeded my expectations and has become our new favorite that we use daily. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and not as heavy as I anticipated.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) A little smaller than expected, but works like a charm and I can see using this wok instead of several of my existing pots and frying pans. Nice weight (not too heavy) and solidly made. The Basil Green is a beautiful colour.

Bought this pan about 10 days ago and have literally used it almost every day. Last night I made a cauliflower curry and it was perfect! I used it to cook brussels sprouts and it caramelizes them beautifully. So easy to clean, beautiful to look at and a pleasure to use. I am now obsessed with Staub!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pan is awesome for stove top shallow or stir fry, as well as baking in the oven. This is the best pan I’ve ever cooked bacon in plus the half moon rack allowed me to keep the cooked pieces warm while I continued to cook new pieces. The glass lid had a small chip near the knob and in all fairness, I bought a pan with a visual imperfection. It was fine until I put it in the oven to make bread pudding and removed it after an hour at 350. Took the lid off and set it on my cutting board. Walked the dish to the table and came back to see a small crack forming. It later collapsed and broke under its own weight. I’d buy a replacement piece of glass but I don’t need the metal ring or the knob since both are still perfect (which is most of the cost of the lid.) Any suggestions or guidance is appreciated.

I just received my perfect pan and I’m quite impressed. It holds a larger amount of volume than the regular French oven. Used it for turmeric risotto and yet it was so easy to clean. I’m only giving 4 stars due to the lid. As compared to other Staub products, it seems they have cut costs on the lid quality, which is flimsy and I don’t like the metal rim which seems cheap. I would rather they include the dome lid with it.
