I really wanted to love this product. It has all the right ingredients, and I truly appreciate the company. However, I think my dog might just be a bit sensitive. Despite a slow transition, he kept having very soft stools. When I conducted an elimination diet to pinpoint the cause, it became clear this product was the issue. As soon as I reintroduced it, the diarrhea returned.

Hi! My name is Aaron. I’m very “picky” with my food. I have a sensitive stomach specially to chicken products. I really love this food and my Mommy too.Beef and sweet potatoes are my favorites. Also is grain free, no corn, no rice, no wheat no gluten, no soy , and “NOTHING SCARY “. I was so happy until I found that there is chicken product on the ingredients.Chicken meal, chicken broth and chicken fat!”Woof” “Woof” “Woof”. That’s scary for me.Im back to scratching again. Please dogs parents don’t forget to read the “ tiny letters “.Hi ! I’m Aaron’s mother, I would like to know why chicken products have to be added in “beef and sweet potatoes food” . There are many dogs that suffer from chicken allergies. Chicken ingredients should be shown in “ big letters” or on front of the bag.I know is my responsibility to verify all the ingredients but I was so captivated with the “ farm raised, grain free, just add water to make gravy…I’m so sorry … but I’m not!!! I guess I have to go back to cooking my own dog food again!

Hi Aaron and Aaron's mom! Thanks for your feedback. Yes, chicken is used in many products, and I too have a dog with a chicken sensitivity. We name things to call out unique ingredients, but all the ingredients wouldn't fit in the name, so this is why we have the ingredient statement on the back of every product. I bought "I and Love and You Baked and Saucy Beef and Sweet Potato" dog food at a store because I was looking for a grain free product for my 4-year old Great Pyrenees dog named Nellie. She is having hip problems and I wanted to increase the protein with more meat in her dog food. The first ingredients in this dog food are beef, chicken and turkey. Wow. I was impressed. I gave her a small amount with water to make some gravy with none of her regular dog food. She immediately ate all of it. The other two dogs also ate it all up. It is great that it has gravy in it with the same concept as Gravy Train but I would never give my dog that Gravy Train with all the corn and fillers. However, I liked the idea of dog food with gravy. Will definitely buy again! Thank you for such a great product.

Makes my 12 week old puppy extremely gassy, so gassy it makes me sick to smell it, I'm on a budget but still try and get the best food for him I feel as if I wasted my money and my puppy has to suffer uncomfortable with gas until I can purchase his next bag

Thanks for sharing your experience, and sorry to hear this product didn't work so well for your pup. It's possible that your pup is still transitioning to the new food, however, we do have some of our Nude Food which has added digestive enzymes and smaller kibble size. It might be a better choice.
