63.75" Breighton Home Xavier 5-Shelf Corner Bookcase

FYI this is black, nothing espresso or brown at all. Great quality but just not the color/shade I was looking for.

Poorly constructed, pre-drilled holes don’t align. Missing hardware. Frustrating to have to improvise to the degree we had to in order to construct this. Junk.

I'm pretty handy with tools, and have assembled MANY pieces of Ready to Assemble funiture, office desks, entertainment centers etc. This was a nightmare!!! IT BETTER LAST. The instructions were printed in a teeny tiny font and were a little confusing. One page had instructions on how to assemble cam locks. When it came time to used them, the cam locks wouldn't stay stable in the hole; so when one tried to connect the bolt to the cam lock (lined up properly) it kept turning out of place. When both hands are busy with screwdriver and holding the partially connected assembly, there's no spare hand, finger or fingernail to keep the cam lock arrow lined up. The hole needs to be tight enough to hold the cam lock STEADY. This takes TWO people. Not one. The shelf edges chipped when tightening the fasteners. You could mark the sides, right and left vs the little number stickers, and mark them also as front and back. Or inside, outside. I had to take a shelf apart when the next step holes didn't line up....because painted BLACK, they were NOT easily visible. You need to include shims for under the unit, because it's not always convenient to bracket it to the wall.

Color is exactly as pictured. It looks great. A bit flimsy, but once weighted down, it is fine.

This is by far the worst set of instructions I've ever come across. I've assembled many items, but WOW - this could not have been more confusing - both with instructions and illustrations. It took my sister and me over 8 HOURS to put this together. The bookcase is solid, not the best quality (after all, it's pressboard). I like the design, but I will NEVER purchase another product from Johar Furniture.

Perfect corner shelf for the space I ordered it for. I ordered two, and one of them was missing a few holes where screws were supposed to go so I needed to force them in with a power tool. I think it was a little overpriced but, not a big deal.

Wood splits easily, cams were bent and a little hard to push in some places

I like the product and the quality. The only bad thing I have to say is the instructions were super hard to follow. It looks great put together but I had to reassemble a few times due to lack of directions which was super frustrating

I really like the bookcase! It’s the perfect accent piece for my bedroom. Tall with multiple shelves to actually have books and other cute trinkets on!

This bookshelf is beautiful, but when it arrived the wood was completely broken in half, so have to return.

I really like the look of the shelf, it fit perfectly in the corner I placed it in to hold my internet and Dish routers(?). Assembly was a pain in the neck. My son and daughter-in-law followed the directions perfectly and had to put it together three times and then realized there was a step missing in the instructions. After that it fit together just fine. Be prepared to use some brain power when you start the project.

Shelf looks great in my bedroom and fits all of my law school books perfectly! Word of the wise though: it is very wobbly and absolutely needs to be secured to the wall. So if you cannot screw it into the wall then I would not recommend buying it because it would be very unsafe. Also, the instructions for assembly are absolutely ridiculous... I consider myself to be very handy and I had to take it apart and start over because the picture diagrams on the instructions were off and came with very little written instructions. Also, the hardware it comes with is not your typical screws and washers... so that is confusing at first as well. Overall I would say that it is not really worth north of $60 even though I paid a little over $100 for it... but I am still happy with the purchase once I got over the frustration of putting it together lol.
