[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Rev A Shelf in cabinet trash can in exchange for my honest review. We already had a similar slide out in cabinet trash can. The quality of this one is far superior. The wood is polished and much thicker. And it’s soft close!! My set included a 35l trash can and another small bin in a silver gray color. Our last bin was white and always a mess. I’m very happy with this color as it seems to blend with my stainless steel. There is secondary small bin and to be honest I’m not sure what it’s for. It would not fit my trash bags in the box. I was able to add trash bags out of box and Lysol spray. Works for me. The installation process was easier for us because we already had a unit that we removed, so all the measurements and holes were there for us. The instructions include a link to a Utube video on how to install this cabinet can. How great is that!? I watched it twice. It was very helpful even for us reversing the project to attach to our existing cabinet front. The instructions state it takes about 45 minutes. I think about an hour and minimal argument for a couple that is not handy. We are very pleased and will look in to other products from this brand.

My husband is handy and easily installed it, but if you aren’t I’m sure a handyman could do it easily enough. It’s technically a little small for a typical Tall kitchen trash bag, but it’s easier to just use them in my opinion. The soft close feature is super nice as well if you have kids. No slamming cabinets. 🙌 overall I am super pleased with it.

The quality of the wood is good and the trash bin are plastic. Not sure the capacity yet but its kind of the right size on my kitchen cabinet.

I love the high quality craftsmanship because this really works well and feels solid. Installation was a cinch. This is also such a nice touch for the design of my kitchen because I no longer have an ugly trash can sitting out. The Soft Close is awesome because it ‘s quiet. This is the perfect upgrade for your kitchen and I definitely recommend it.

It fits perfectly in my cabinet and it slides in and out with ease. I love that it has the mini container behind the trash can to hold my garbage bags. This trash can is a great way to keep your trash hidden and out of the opening.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install. First under the skin trash I’ve ever had but happy with it. The trash can sits in there and is easily removed if need be.. You can be creative for things to put in the small bin behind the trash can.

Once installed and placed properly all is a good to go from that point on. Trash can is a 35qt has a soft close to it. Doesn't just shoot it self fast.

Only thing I see is the small container doesn’t necessarily lock or fit into place like the larger trash bin. Not a huge biggie and plan to use the little bin for a few recycling items.

Perfect fit…just what I wanted!

There is really no excuse for how bad the installation instructions are for this model. The instructions seem to presume you are a cabinet installer who has already installed this model 100 times. There are measurements missing and instructions that simply do not make sense. There are "tips," which are for after the hard part, and videos for other models, but for this one, you're more or less on your own. Take your time, think it through and plan, and you'll get it eventually. In addition to the problems with the instructions, some of them were simply difficult or impossible to carry out in an installed cabinet with a 12" opening. I had to ad-lib a little, eyeball measurements, and use props (a shoebox and books to hold up the rails while I attached them at the back). Once I was done, I was happy because this pull out is what I need in that space.

That’s start with horrible instructions, and lack of screws. Weight of item when installed does not support the brackets, we were required to install more longer screws to support the system. Ball bearing dislocated on install, and soft close element still nonfunctional and won’t engage. The product itself is built tough and wood is good quality. Would recommend the company create a diagram of screw placement. Took over 2.5 hours to install.
