It’s a better looking desk than most, however, it does crack easily. I was finishing up and putting the top on when it caught on a vinyl bag and snagged the drawer, causing a wood crack. It was really a low impact snag,. I attempted to reach out to the warranty office and parts are on back order and they cannot replace, their advice was to take it all apart and return it LOL. I won’t purchase from this same brand. I just wanted a new drawer and offered to even pay for it if needed.

It’s a great desk and would have given it 5 stars but the only thing I dislike about the desk is that the surface is not smooth it has lines which makes it difficult to write on.

I am happy with the desk but the color was a bit off and one of the screws did not line up, but there were plenty of others that made up for that one screw. I also thought it was weird that the same desk in other colors was over a hundred dollars more???!!

To be totally fair, first, I may have received a better product had I exchanged mine, so I could be a little unfair in my review. I found a dent on top of the desk only after we had fully assembled it. I had already realized that the pre-assembled part was done very "off", leaving gaps between the wood and metal, some corners of wood higher and some lower, as mentioned in some other reviews. But I had decided I didn't care too much, because I bought the desk on sale (the 48" Brown one, that I almost didn't realize was an option due to the awkward website setup, for $286~ before taxes, it's now $589 after I purchased), and I don't like to waste things. It's a desk. It works. I will use it. It was a little painful that the dent is so noticeable and not in a covered location, but I stuck to my original decision that I made when I saw it was also not too well put together. There are also a couple other minor curved lines that look and feel like cuts in the wood. I had fallen in love with this desk when I saw it, after having much difficulty in choosing one. I decided my computer desk would be the one furniture item I buy in real wood since learning that wood is troublesome to take care of in my new location. The materials also indicate plywood, however, and I think that's what's inside the drawers. My drawers, by the way, do not open very nicely at all. They require more force than I'd like and squeak loudly when opening and closing, shaking the whole desk. It's so annoying that I always check to see if my cat is sleeping first, and I don't use them if so because it will wake her. While the top of the desk is textured, the drawers are smooth and there's plenty space for me. I use the keyboard tray just for writing. I'm going to ask someone to look at the drawers for me and see if there's any way to adjust them to work smoother. The "H" shape on the back, I admit, is part of what I admired about the desk, but once computer cords are falling behind it, it's not so attractive, so I may bother to tie them up and hide them, even though I'm not normally so... strict. I don't like metal furniture on its own, but combined it works, and the edges mean my cat can climb on and off without digging claws into wood. Probably my biggest regret is actually in the aesthetic property of the wood, and I blame myself entirely for not being more concerned before purchase. That is, the grooves in the top of the desk make it incredibly hard to clean, considering that I don't want to wet it very much ever. Dust/solids get locked in the grooves, and brushing them off is unfeasible when there are gaps between the metal and wood. So things fall onto the floor or into the drawers during cleaning! The size and look of the desk are perfect for me. There are 25.1 inches between the bottom of the desk drawers and the floor, by the way, since I noticed that was NOT correctly answered in the Q&A. This is how much leg room height you have. The height of the desk from the very top to the floor is 31 inches.

I love the color. it looks really rich. Rustic wood in a modern design.

The metal frame came with several dings and a couple of scuff marks that won't come out. The seams aren't flush on the corners. The drawers don't slide well. It is visually appealing.

Pay a little more and run from cheap MDF desks. Sturdy, amazing quality.

This desk is absolutely gorgeous. It’s one of my favorite pieces in the house. I only have one complain though. When I got the box delivered at my house I thought I got all the measurements wrong because the box was huge. When I opened to assemble the desk, I found out that most of its interior was cardboard and styrofoam. Lots of it. I think it was very unnecessary and a real waste. The desk is amazing. I highly recommend it. Packaging though, it is gotta to change.

My husband loves this desk! It's very sturdy and solid wood. Size is perfect for his office. Plenty of room and the 3 drawers are great for storage. Great price for a great product!

This desk is as nice in person as it is in photos and solidly built. The surface has a slightly shinier finish, however. The wood part comes pre-assembled, all you need to do is attach the metal legs. It comes with a wrench, so no power drill needed. I paid $250.
