Not waterproof. After the first wash, it was fine. After the second wash, the waterproof backing started to crack and it is no longer waterproof. We use it for our toddler and once in a while his pull ups leak overnight. The last time it happened, the leak got to the mattress pretty significantly. It is a really nice mattress pad, doesn't slide, make noise, and seems to be very well made, which is why I gave it more than 1 star. If you're looking for something waterproof, especially for children, look elsewhere.

I was so skeptical about buying this mattress pad but based on the reviews i bought it. It was well packed, looked clean and it fit my 14" king mattress perfect. Feels nice and soft. I have yet to try water spills and see how waterproof it is and if it feels cool in the night when sleeping.

We have one of these on each bed! It's great and helps you stay worry free when it comes to human/pet accidents or spills. Also love that it's not a crunchy sounding pad! It looks and feels like any regular mattress pad but this is great with the extra protection. Highly recommend.

I really like this mattress pad from Serta. It fits our mattress nicely and does not slip around. It is comfortable with a little bit of softness. I have trouble with heat building up under me at night but this pad doesn't do that. Our mattress has protection and we have comfort. This pad delivers exactly what I was looking for.

It unfolded easily and was simple to put on over my current bed setup. I already have a foam topper so it was important for this to have lots of stretch so I could fit it over my queen mattress and the topper. My current Serta Mattress is something I want to keep well protected so I love all the layers I have on it. The pad is easy to take off when needed so I can machine wash it. This is definitely the top quality expected from Serta and I am happy to be using this comfortable pad with my partner.

The Serta Simply Clean Triple Action Queen Mattress Pad was easy to pull over all 4 corners, fit smoothly on top of my mattress & I even have an extra foam and still easily pulled this mattress pad over the corners. It’s not a thick mattress topper, it’s a pad a little extra layer of comfort. I am a night sweater and this definitely helped with them. I wish I put this pad on my foam topper along time ago! Washes easily, with my sheets.
