About the Book

"Jessica Miller plans to triumphantly return to Duquette University for her ten year reunion festivities. She's the most successful out of her entire group of friends, and she's ready to flaunt her achievements...even though her "friend group," known on campus as the East House Seven, doesn't really exist anymore. Ten years ago, Heather, one of their own, was murdered, fracturing the once close knit group. And then another friend was accused of committing the vile act, shattering whatever friendly feelings remained. Jessica thinks she's coming back to campus to bask in a wave of glory. She and her friends have no idea that someone has set an elaborate trap to catch the real killer and close the cold case for good."--

Book Synopsis

Tense, twisty, and packed with shocks...a terrific read.--Riley Sager, New York Times bestselling author of Home Before Dark

An addictive and riveting psychological thriller. Put this one at the very top of your 2021 reading list.--Liv Constantine, internationally bestselling author of The Last Mrs. Parrish

Six friends.
One college reunion.
One unsolved murder.

Ten years after graduation, Jessica Miller has planned her triumphant return to her southern, elite Duquette University, down to the envious whispers that are sure to follow in her wake. Everyone is going to see the girl she wants them to see--confident, beautiful, indifferent. Not the girl she was when she left campus, back when Heather Shelby's murder fractured everything, including the tight bond linking the six friends she'd been closest to since freshman year.

But not everyone is ready to move on. Not everyone left Duquette ten years ago, and not everyone can let Heather's murder go unsolved. Someone is determined to trap the real killer, to make the guilty pay. When the six friends are reunited, they will be forced to confront what happened that night--and the years' worth of secrets each of them would do anything to keep hidden.

Told in racing dual timelines, with a dark campus setting and a darker look at friendship, love, obsession, and ambition, In My Dreams I Hold A Knife is an addictive, propulsive read you won't be able to put down.

It was a fast read! Good thriller just when I thought I had figured out the murder mystery… it was the person I least expected. And the ending just when you think that’s it… Jessica… gurl!!! I would not want to be you’re friend or enemy.

Jessica Miller is a success in business, but she isn’t happy in her personal life. She is still trying to get her friends from college to notice her-and hold her in high esteem. She is trying to live up to a dream in her head. Now, 10 years after graduation, she is returning to elite Duquette University to reconnect with the East House 7, although it is no longer 7. Heather was killed while they were in college, and Heather’s boyfriend, Jack, was accused of the murder. When she arrives at the reunion, she finds out that Heather’s brother, Eric, plans to question each member of the group until he unmasks the killer. Told in alternating timelines, between their college years, and now, secrets of all the friends are exposed. Who did it , who is hiding the real truth, and why does Jessica still repress some memories? Good thriller, but I felt the ending was a bit contrived.
