We absolutely love this rug. It makes our living room look so warm and cozy!

I wanted a natural fiber to compliment my living room rug and vibe. When it first arrived I noted some quarter size black spots that were hard to walk on, but just chalked it up to the natural fibers. Although I still like the rug itself, in retrospect I should have returned and asked for a new one. The black spots almost look like old chewing gum on a sidewalk. Attached is a picture for reference.

I just received my two runners yesterday and they are exactly what I wanted in my hallway. They are very well made, high quality, soft Jute and stylish! I love that the premium rug pad is made in USA, rugs from India. I’m very happy with my purchase as thinking about ordering a larger version for my living room.

There’s a lot to love about this rug. As others have written, the stripes are navy, not black as they appear in the photos, but I know that and it works for my space. The rug is very attractive and the weave is tight. It rolled out very flat right away, with no curling to deal with. It is thinner than I expected - thin enough that I can’t use a beater bar vac, and I have to use my suction only vac on the lower pressure setting. That will work fine for my purposes, because the rug is not in a high traffic area, but I would not recommend it for areas that get heavy use. Also, it needs a thick felt pad under it if you want it to feel at all dense, and I would also recommend rug tape to hold it in place better while vacuuming. But again, for the right space, it will be fine. For the most part I like how it feels under bare feet - it’s bumpy in a good way. The reasons I can’t give it five stars are (1) it is not appropriate for a heavy use area because of the vacuuming problem and (2) there are a couple of uncomfortable spots on the rug. One is where there is a hard knot that sticks up and feels like a pebble when you step on it. I may be able to pull that through to the back of the rug - I haven’t tried yet. But the weave of the rug is so tight (a good thing usually) that I don’t know if it will go through. The bigger issue is that there is a piece of what seems like wood or a thin stick about 2” long woven tightly into the rug. There’s definitely no way to get that out without cutting the rug (see close up photo). That’s a big enough issue that I considered returning the rug, but it turns out that it’s under where the sofa table goes. So it’s not a problem for me, but I have ordered more of these rugs for other spots and they are backordered, so when they arrive we’ll see whether the flaws are an aberration or a recurring issue. I haven’t seen similar complaints in other reviews so mine is probably the exception rather than the rule. All in all, it’s a great rug and given that I’m not seeing other reviewers have quality issues, I definitely recommend as long as it’s for light traffic areas.

Beautiful rug! I will say it’s a little lighter than what’s pictured on the website. The pictures make the rug look more brown/tan but in real life, there are beige threads that run throughout that lighten it up. The navy stripes are also a medium navy. Nonetheless, it’s a beautiful neutral rug that warms up and grounds a room. It’s also super soft and comfortable, especially for a jute rug. Definitely recommend putting a rug pad underneath to increase the plushness.

This rug is beautiful, but I should have looked more closely at pictures of the stripe color. I was under the impression they were black stripes, but they are navy blue. Didn't work out for me, but the rug is beautiful and good quality.
