When I first received this robe, I was thrilled. I thought I I’d gotten a bargain for a great looking robe that was comfortable, soft, and of premium quality. However, I quickly found out how much this thing sheds. It’s all over the clothes that I wear under it, it clogs up the dryer vent, it’s stuck to my hair (I have a buzz cut), etc. As as much as I like it when it’s not shedding on me, I could not purchase this again. If you can deal with the shedding, it’s great. This should really be a two star for me due to the amount of shedding, but I’ll keep it as a three because it functions as a robe and it feels comfortable. FYI - This review is based on daily wear for the month that I’ve owned it.

The only complaint I have is this material is very bad for dog hair Or cat hair. After wearing it for about 15 minutes, I collected quite the collection of hairs from my two dogs. But I was extremely warm. It also comes with a belt to go around your waist to keep the robe together.

He has never used a robe before And let me tell you he can’t take it off now he says it’s so soft and comfortable. He just needs to get in the shower and get out and put this on And he is good to go. He uses it every day. He says it’s so soft And comfortable it’s true to size it washes very well we don’t dry it and we don’t wanna risk it getting clumpy So air drying has worked perfect We will definitely get the Alexander Del Ross’s every time Very beautiful Robe! And the color is also very beautiful. He loves the Raiders and wears a lot of grays and blacks and silvers, and this fits perfect with everything he has.

I was happy to find a full lenth robe for my husband, but not really crazy about it having a hood (not relevent to disappointment). My husband has to have new clothes washed before he can wear them. Gently washed and dried the robe, and it was a nightmare. Gobs of large pills ALL over the entire robe. Loaded the lint trap of my dryer several times. Repeated gently washing and drying 3 more times, and still had gobs of pills. I've spent 4 hours so far trying to use a clothes shaver to remove the pills, so that it at least looks presentable. Also, any where this robe goes it leaves a trail. See if you like picking up gobs off the carpet, bed, furniture, your clothes. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ROBE. I regret not taking pictures of all the fabric gobs that came off this robe, many many handfuls.
