This book was absolutely amazing and I was completely riveted from beginning to end! Clean Christian romantic suspense with lots of drama. Throughout the book there are mentions of killings from a serial killer and war killings, and nothing graphic but it can still be upsetting at times. This was one of those books I read in one day with no interruptions because I was so involved in the characters and plot that I didn't want to stop. I liked reading about the other girls that were mentioned in previous books but each book can be read as a standalone. I enjoyed getting to know Caden and Ava and watching their friendship grow as events grew more intense and the plot thickened. This book and this series is one that I will keep on my bookshelf to read again. I absolutely loved it! I received a copy of this book complimentary for blog and social media review. This is only the second book that I've read by this author and it affirms what I thought after reading the first book. "This gal can write!" From the first sentence to the last, Lynette Eason kept me turning the pages to see what was coming next. Hostile Intent is filled with suspense, intrigue, and scene after scene of action and danger. Ava Jackson finds herself being hunted and FBI Special Agent Caden Denning pledges to protect her, but it's apparent that it won't be easy. There are intense scenes that made me wonder if the good guys would actually win, and there are other moments when I found myself actually holding my breath! Hostile Intent is also a fascinating study of a friendship that many wish for, and a sweet romance that most of us long for. Ava, who has never had a third date, and Caden, who would love to be Ava's permanent date! Can he keep her safe long enough to achieve this goal? Twists, turns, and numerous secrets make this a thrilling story that you won't want to miss. I recommend it to all who enjoy clean romantic suspense. I received a copy of this book from Revell Reads. After reading the first three books in the Danger Never Sleeps Series I could not wait to get my hands on Caden’s story! Who doesn’t love a protective big brother? He had no trouble winning my heart not too long after I met him. I was dying to see what type of woman would be the one capture his heart. As it turns out, Ava is the type of person we all want to be. She is physically fit, able to hold her own in a fight, and also incredibly smart. If she wasn’t all those things I might be tempted to think she isn’t good enough for Caden, but she’s proven herself worthy. Hostile Intent was impossible to put down. It was heart breaking, terrifying, and yet also romantic. I love trying to figure out a good mystery and this one kept me on my toes. I enjoyed watching Ava and Caden’s chemistry and how they played off of; and learned to lean on each other. This story completely took me by surprise! There were so many unexpected twists and I loved playing detective right along with them. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Romantic Suspense. This novel was a great addition to the series, but I would say it can also be read as a stand alone. Lynette Eason is one of the best, and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next! Hostile Intent is the fourth book in Lynette Eason's Danger Never Sleeps series. It is not necessary to have read the first three in order to enjoy this book. I found the very beginning to be somewhat confusing even though I had read the other books in the series. However, as I read a few more pages into the book, the events started to fall into place and the the plot thickened. One of the main characters, Ava Jackson, finds herself working with FBI Special Agent Caden Denning to uncover the mysteries revealed in the story. Lynette Eason does an excellent job connecting the reader to the characters. It is definitely a page turner and one mystery lovers will not want to miss. It's another riveting suspense novel from Lynette Eason. Having read the other books in the series, I was expecting Caden and Ava to be thrown together and I really liked that though we knew of Caden from previous novels, we really got to know him in this one. Ava was mostly on the periphery previously so it was also nice to get to know her. As usual, the author sets out an intricate plot with carefully planted details that all come together in the end. The suspense is absolutely riveting even when we know the villain from the beginning since he has an active voice in the story. There are flashbacks to catch us up on Ava's childhood as well as a wonderful crossover secondary character from Vow of Justice (the author's Blue Justice series). Caden and Ava's romance is sweet and natural, especially since they grew up together. The villain's methodology in fulfilling his 'mission' made me a little uneasy but I get that this was to show how he came to be the villain that he is. It's a well-written conclusion to another great suspense series by the author. I received the book from the publisher via NetGalley and was under no obligation to post a positive comment. Hostile Intent by Lynette Eason is the fourth book in her Danger Never Sleeps series. There’s a serial killer targeting military families. FBI agent Caden Denning is part of the task force trying to solve the case. Ava Jackson is ex-military and a great linguist. When Caden rescues Ava from an attacker in the parking lot he realizes that she might be able to help in the investigation. This story was very intense! There’s lots of action, secrets, and hidden agendas that eventually come to light. Ava was very capable of taking care of herself and she didn’t let her fears rule her life. The romance was there but not in an overwhelming abundance. DISCLAIMER: Some of the action scenes are pretty graphic. I received this book from the publisher for my honest review.

Another wonderful addition to Eason's Danger Never Sleeps series! Her books are always action packed with just a tough of romance, and Hostile Intent is no different. Ava Jackson has kept her father's secrets since she was fifteen. Now those secrets may have to be revealed as someone is killing families, and it appears her father is the link between them all. FBI Special Agent Caden Denning has had eyes for Ava since they were teens, never realizing she had a crush on him way back then as well. Now he hopes to develop a meaningful relationship with her, if he can keep her alive long enough to make that a reality. If you are a fan of romantic suspense, you will love Hostile Intent along with Lynette Eason's other books.
