Description
The Swede-O Versi-Splint Ankle Splint provides a great combination of medial and lateral ankle stabilization, cold therapy, and compression to help relieve pain and swelling following acute ankle injuries. The upper bladder contains air while the lower bladder contains gel, this combination provides proper compression and cold therapy.
These durable, vinyl bladders are double sealed to prevent leakage. Air bladder for compression and support. Contoured design maximizes comfort. The ultralight, contoured rigid shell fits comfortably over the right or left ankle. The heel pad fits easily in most shoes. To utilize the splint for cold therapy, simply place the product in the freezer for 30 minutes prior to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this splint after extensive foot surgery to support the ankle for weight bearing exercises. It did the trick. We would have liked the velcro attachment to be longer for more secure support around the calf. The ends flapped about and we did not want to cut them off. Also, the gel pack seemed a little less abundant than normal. but worked well. A heavier material for the heel strap would have helped it slipping when moving. Overall, it did fit and was comfortable. If the issues above were corrected, it would be fabulous. As is, good for our use.
