Timberland Men's Mt. Maddsen Slip On Shoes

I love this shoe, fit good, comfortable, and is an overall good work shoe when I do not feel like wearing boots. That being said, after about 5 months of use they have developed a squeak. It happened with every step on carpet, tile hardwood, what ever which is very annoying!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my favorite slip on shoes. They look great, have great support, comfortable as soon as I slipped them on. I have 2 pairs. One for work and one for weekend wear.

Nice style, decent price. Wore less than a year and right shoe started squeaking, loudly. Just the right, not left. Tried every solution offered via Internet. Retiring it for something non-squeaking.

I purchased the Men's Mt. Maddsen Slip-On Shoe in October 2022 about a month before a trip to Northern Ireland. I was looking for a comfortable hiking shoe. Having previously owned a pair of Timberland SmartWool slip-ons that were wonderful to wear, I gave the Mt. Maddsen slip-ons a try. They did not disappoint. The leather uppers softened and molded themselves to fit my foot so they have become my preferred shoe for working in the yard as well as hiking. They shed water well and the thick soles keep my foot out of puddles in the rain. After 2 years of hard use (I write this in 2024) the soles are worn, but no separation at all from the leather uppers. Very well made. (This is for the model A6660 made in Vietnam)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good solid shoe , insides could be better but this has served me well for a nice walking shoe in both summer and winter. Does not slip easily in ice and has a decent grip. Easy to put on and off. Can be worn with or without socks for quick trips. I have worn mine out cause I wear it everywhere everyday and just bought myself a second pair to use for another year. Timberland still makes good comfortable shoes. Strong Buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had recently ordered a pair of boots from Timberland in size 8.5 that fit perfectly. When I saw these slip on casual shoes on sale I ordered them in the same size - 8.5. They were much too large. My foot was lifting right out of them. I returned them with a note to exchange them for a size 8, however I was refunded my purchase instead. I wasn't too unhappy about this because when I saw the ultra aggressive deep lug soles I realized these were not the casual easy on/off shoe I was looking for. I didn't want a sole that would track mud and dirt indoors regardless of the weather. I found a pair of Merrell Jungle Mocs instead that met the requirements but don't look like they would be as durable as the Timberlands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd pair. Most comfortable and incredibly durable with the premium leather. I had a pair of premium leather clogs forever, but they were discontinued. These are very close but not a clog, and still easy to slip on without any trouble. I don't even wear socks most of the time.

they feel good but look narrow compared to my last pair

The shoe/boot fits perfectly. There's only one issue, I need a wheat colored one to go better with certain clothes.

I own 2 pairs of Timberland shoes, both men's size 9.5. I purchased the same size of these shoes and they're enormous. Much larger than my others so I returned and replaced them. Suggest sizing down 0.5.

I tried to replace my old casual hiking slip ons from another manufacturer with the same model but found they completely changed their sizing and couldn't get a pair that fit. I hasn't owned a pair of Timberlands since the 80s but it appeared this shoe had the right features so I ordered it. So glad I found them! They run a little big and the 12s I got fit nice on my 12.5ish feet. Glad I rediscovered the brand.

I bought a pair of these same shoes, same size three years ago and they are very comfortable, fit well with my custom orthotic, and have worn very well. That pair was made in China. This new pair is made in Bangladesh and is clearly of a lesser quality. The shoes are uncomfortable even with my custom orthotic - feet and knees ache - and are too big. I won't be buying another pair, very disappointed since my first pair are so comfortable (and I'll be getting as much mileage as I can from them).

Plan on a 10 day trip to Ireland and wanted a good all around shoe for all kinds of conditions and lots of walking, but still looks good to go out to dinner in( plan on taking one pair of shoes) these are it. Had them for a month and love them.
