Terrible for comfort

Man this shoe is so uncomfortable, hurts to almost stand even. I have always purchased the Chelsea Georgia boots, those are comfortable, my brother ordered these for us, and he even asked me why they were so uncomfortable. So it wasn’t just me. I then told him he bought the wrong ones. Mine are brand new and I just let them sit outside because I can’t endure walking in them.

Soles worn down fast

I’ve been buying Romeos for me and my kids for 20 years, always love them. The last two pairs have worn the soles down so fast I won’t buy them again. Has the sole material changed? I do walk more at my job now, but the soles are very worn down in only two months.

The Achilles heel of this boot

Really disappointed in these, the outsides have another few years in them but the insides just aren't up to the task. This is my second pair, and on both pairs the first point of failure is the inside heel. The fabric tears, then the inner padding tears and then you can't put them on without standing on the crushed inside of the back heel.

I have had mine for about 4 years. I bought them for construction work and they have been excellent. They keep my feet comfortable during long days and they have held up well. I would definitely buy these again.

My first and last pair of Georgia Romeo boots

I got these to walk around the office 14 months ago, I have other boots for dirty work so these get worn 2-4 times a week. They get two stars because they look good and are/were comfortable. Now the liner is tearing out in the heals where the pull strap is.

They look great and are comfortable, but if you get sweaty feet they will stink super bad. Not sure why. I have Red Wings and Ecco’s that do not smell at all after a whole day of sweaty feet.

I work in window cleaning and pressure washing, so I'm bending, climbing, squatting and standing all day. This boot is perfectly comfortable in every situation and posture that I find myself in. I have bought one pair a year for the last five years and wear them winter and summer, rain or shine, with shorts or jeans.

Runs small, and narrow

I cannot leave a full review of this product, as the pair that just arrived will not even go on my feet. Based on the majority of reviews stating boot runs "normal" i ordered my normal size. This boot is at least a size smaller, and more narrow, than any other 10.5 boot I've ever purchased in my life. Approximately three weeks for delivery and I had the return processed and the label in hand within ten minutes of delivery. Clearly I need to find these boots in a physical store to figure out what the appropriate size might be.

This boot was my first Georgia Boot purchase and I am hooked! These were my EDC boots for 6 years of hard use. Keep in mind I'm 6'4 and my weight fluctuates from 250 to 275 depending on the time of the year. I always buy work boots because as an Eagle Scout and former Marine being prepared on an everyday basis is the only way I feel comfortable. I always have 2 pair of boots. One to work and a "casual" pair. When my work boot wears completely out my "casual" boot becomes my new work boot. So the first year or so of these boots they didn't see much but rainy days and mud here and there. They always got compliments. By the time it was time to graduate them they still looked practically brand new, only darker due to being treated to bi monthly obenauf treatments. I'm hard on boots as a commercial mower. Yes, they are comfortable enough to wear in Louisiana summer heat and light enough too(the weight is obviously up to the individual user). Lesser boots and sneakers can't stand the abuse of being blasted with grass thrown off the weedeater and barely make a single season before they are splitting. Weedeating is the worse abuse you can do to any boots leather. Most pros use rubber boots then switch to leather boots or sneakers to run the z- turn. Mine were dual use and other professionals mocked me because grass cakes the boots within minutes of weed eating, and daily aggressive cleaning is enough to ruin most leather boots. Daily scrubbing, less than a minute per boot and weekly obenauf treatments kept these in top shape. I would quick clean them and meet the other guys at the bar in the same boots after work! My "casual" boot saw 1 or 2 days a week because these were true all day EDC boots. They took that almost daily abuse for 3 years and were still ready for more. I switched jobs and was building long walls in a mobile home factory. These guys came with. I put new insoles and got going. Most guys wear sneakers because it's concrete floors and we walk miles a day running around an 80 foot table. My boots were as comfortable as sneakers with the protection I craved from "man shoes!!" I put 4 or 5 10 hour days on these boots a week. Sheet rock dust covered them for weeks at a time and cleaning didn't give them a good enough clean to wear to bars after work, but they were functioning flawlessly. Other guys with sneakers would buy new sneakers and I buy a set of insoles. I never really wore these boots out alpha glue did. It's an industrial super glue and it dripped onto the boots at random times and it hardened quickly. Sucking out moisture and it took the top layer of the leather off if you peeled it off so I justblet it build up. I am in no fault blaming the leather. If it dried on your skin it would peel skin off! After 3 years they were just ugly but still functioning well. I was promoted and didn't have to work with the glue that destroyed the look of my boot. So I graduated my Georgia Boot 6 inch lace ups(which I love, but miss the convenience of a chelsea). Without the glue Idk how much longer they would have lasted. They were still comfortable but much worse for wear. If you buy these as a casual boot they would last forever and look great doing it. I got a year casual and over 6 hard use, bordering on abuse, years out of these work boots. I highly recommend these boots and was reluctant to find a different offering from these guys but I love my Georgia One lace up! Been my "casual" boot for years and look brand new! You can get higher grade boots, but that's only if you want to resole them. That's just not for me. These boots are a great price for years of use.

I read the reviews and they were very good except the sizing seemed to be confusing. I ordered my regular size (10.5W) and they are perfect. Very well made. They seem to have the quality of footwear from long ago. The Goodyear welt construction is the best available, usually for high end boots and shoes. They can be re-soled many times. They are a blend of a work boot and a casual shoe. The leather is very nice. I should have these for long time. Very pleased.

I received the boots at the end of August 2020. Wore them inside for one month to brake in on (Tiffany's advice) than treated them with Sno-Seal. And a Michigan winter with no leaks and dry feet what more can I say. Size 91/2 W fit is perfect.

On my 3rd pair. I’m on my feet a lot, cleaning windows, pressure washing and meeting new customers (sales). These boots are perfect for everything. I brag about their comfort, recommend them to friends, and get a lot of complements on their looks and stylishness (I even wear them with shorts in the summer). *the 4 star rating I gave on quality is because the elastic wears out a little faster than the soles. They still fit fine and wear just fine but suffer a little in the looks.
