This shower head has only lasted a 11/2 years and is now leaking badly. It was part of a beautiful shower system that is performing well. The showerhead has partially separated and now leaks. I hope it's covered under warranty. I may need to consider a better replacement.

Plastic edging in the head that holds it to the discharge valve crumbled like a dry biscuit - the thing is barely 2 years old. For the cost of this unit it should last for several years.

Just received a replacement shower head and am disappointed at the markedly restricted water flow. The original shower head had to be replaced after 3.5 years of use when the plastic casing "fingers" over the ball that allows movement of the shower head started breaking off into tiny pieces. We generally don't move the shower head except for the VERY occasional cleaning of the shower walls when I don't have a large cup handy. Thankful that Delta honored the 5-year warranty on the shower head but a bit disappointed that the parts didn't hold up for very long.

I bought and installed this several months ago and it squeals so loud. I just removed it and let the water flow unrestricted and have no squeal, so I know it is the head. Just realized there is no way to remove the flow restrictor. So this is going in the trash and I'll go buy another shower head.

Hi Dan 101, Thank you for your feedback on the RP78575SS. During the first few days you use your faucet, a small amount of debris may be flushed out of your pipe system. This happens even though the plumber flushes the pipes before completing work on your home. In addition, particles of solder, copper chips, plumber's tape and other installation materials can get caught in aerators and shower heads. Our bathroom remodel people just replaced our old shower head for this new model and it sucks. As soon as you turn it on the lack of water pressure is very evident. So far I am unable to find if it has a removable water restrictor. I do not recommend this shower head.
