Lands' End Women's Cotton Tank Top

runs large i am a small but this is more like a large. becareful of your size to bad at this rate i would need an xs

Received today, disappointed in material.

The Breton Green is the same dark green as pictured but the white stripes are actually beigey-cream or darker than off-white. I was a bit disappointed, because I can't wear it with a white cardigan to be tone-on-tone, but it's ok. However a few things: 1. It is overly soft, like saccharine-soft. I only wear cotton and this is the first time I've encountered this. It feels "creepy" on my hands, as if the yarn had been treated with too much fabric softener. 2. Because of that, it feels overly warm. This is definitely NOT for summer (or our California hot days). It's a winter or cool weather top, to be worn with layers and a scarf. 3. The dreadful PRINTED tag, GAH!!! The print is plasticky and this botheres me! PLEASE: let me CUT OFF the NORMAL tag and be done with it. For these reasons, I won't buy a 2nd one, sadly. However: 4. XL has no armpits gap and the length is good (hits top of hips). 5. I'm an extreme hourglass (38H, smaller waist) and this is BOXY as I like it, does not reveal my weird shape AND does not make me look fat! (Vertical stripes cause that effect, horizontal ones stack us up and create the illusion of height or make one look taller.) 6. No odors and once on, the cotton is no longer creepy, but it's way too warm for warm weather, let alone hot. 7. It's very thick cotton, high quality (but pity about the printed tag ruining the entire garment, UGH!) Please bring this back sans cotton treatment (cotton is naturally soft, shouldn't have added chemicals to saccharine-soften it!) and ENOUGH of the added BPA-plastic faux-tags at back: I can't remove this, therefore I will rarely wear this, sadly, which means it will last forever, which means Land's End won't sell as many as if you'd let ME remove the annoying tag. My advice? Buy only 1 and then see how you like it.

I bought this about a month ago and it is perfect for summer! It is lightweight and VERY soft. Washes perfectly and does not wrinkle. It runs true to size.

Bought this top after having purchased this style top last year

I own a few of these, when they go on sale I buy a few. They are a thicker cotton than the regular T-shirts. I prefer these over the Lands End t-shirts because the fit is more flattering and the material is thicker. I wear these under blazers at work, and for casual occasions too. These can be worn with nice slacks or a skirt for a night out when it's hot.

Love the color but it runs large. I always have a problem choosing between L & XL and this time I was wrong

Great quality tank. The cotton is high quality, very soft, and these tanks last forever. I love that I can get a tall.

I love their tank tops.. been buying them for years. This time I purchased them in Tall.. cuz I wanted the length to cover more of my butt to wear with slacks. Length is great.. but do tall people have bigger upper arms? requiring a "tall" arm hole?? really? So our bra shows? What's the deal with that? Returned all but one that I've worn several times... The heather grey top was really really stretchy.. like it had other material in it.. didn't like that either. Your tank tops have ALWAYS been my go to. You must check the quality.. cuz it's not like it used to be. and I still have several well worn tops that I've had for literally YEARS!

Love the body length of the tall cuts. Nice fabric too.

Have many of these from years past and love them, some more than others. Bust Darts were horrible as they came unsewn in the wash so I only by them if there are no darts. This year, no darts, woohoo...purchased the Light Yellow...kind of see thru, so need a bra. But this version is extra long it seems...hope it will shrink some length in the wash.

I have been shopping for a cotton tank for months and I finally found it here. The fabric is soft and a good weight. You can't see through it! The neckline is very flattering and not revealing. Arm holes are perfect and hide my bra. I found that the PXS was just a little roomy in the waist, so I washed it in warm water and now it fits perfectly. It also shrunk it bit in length which put it at the perfect length for me. I plan to buy several more. Lands End, please keep making these just as they are. They are perfect.

Like the tank but dislike new sizing. Armholes are way to large most likely due to the tank not having bust darts. Please go back to the old sizing and return to include the darts for a much neater fit. Thank you.

Smooth, silky feel is slightly elevated from other cotton tanks (I use as shells). It’s not fitted, rather loose which I wanted, but it has a loosey goosey, sloppy feel. Maybe the arm and neck holes are so wide?

I’m 5’3” and 128 lbs and ordered a PM in the color Peach. It’s a nice soft material, not see through, but the arm holes are not even. The left arm is ok, but the right arm is looser and gapes open. I’ll still wear it but I won’t order any more.

Like the top but I haven't bought any in a while because the arm holes were too big. Didn't fit as the original ones I started buying years ago.

Great fabric--very soft. I am 5'8 and 145 lbs., small busted, and ordered a Large Tall which turned out to be too large across the chest and under arms, but since I wear it under another shirt, and there is supposed to be some shrinkage during washing, I think it will be OK., but I think Medium would have been ideal. I like the long length for tucking in so it won't hang below the outer shirt I will wear.

Bought this in 2 colors. Great quality and true to size. I'll definitely purchase more!

I am so glad I finally tracked down the right tank again. I purchased one of these a few years ago in blue and love it so much but couldn’t remember which one it was. These tanks are so comfortable! Just keeps getting softer. Fabric has enough body to not cling and show every lump and bump. Coverage is modest but very cool in hot weather. Great by itself or as a layer.

These tanks are the perfect fit and weight. I probably own 10 of these, mostly black and white, and wear them almost daily. I only wish there were more and better colors options. Please bring back the burnt orange, royal blue, khaki green, some browns, etc.
