These are great wastebaskets. I have one in my office, one in my garage, and (since I saw these are discontinued) I bought a few more. They fit a 13gal garbage bag with a fair amount of overhang on the sides, or a 8 gallon bag perfectly.

OK maybe it’s because I have four boys but I love keeping a garbage can underneath my child’s desk and one by his bedroom door!! It has seem to clean up the garbage mess in his room! It has also been used when he’s playing with his cars and seems to be pretty indestructible.

I have been needing a new waste basket for under my kitchen cabinet. This has been the perfect size. I also think it has been quite sturdy considering my 1 year old is always trying to get into the waste basket and throwing everything out. I really like the weave to it. I got this basket about 3 weeks ago. I put it in my home office/craft room and it is working fantastic. It is just the right size for paperwork and general office and crafting disposal. The weave look on the outside looks great! I would definitely recommend this to all of my friends and family.

This wastebasket is fine for general use in a bathroom, bedroom or home office, but is not big enough for kitchen use. Its slender depth allows it to fit easily by a desk or nightstand without taking up much space. It feels sturdy and durable. The only thing I really didn't care for is the woven style design embossed in the plastic. The wastebasket is made out of plastic, which is great for cleaning and longevity, but I think the design actually makes it look obviously plastic and cheaper, trying to imitate the woven design of of a nice rattan or other wooden woven wastebasket, so I wouldn't use it in a living room, for example. But if you are picking a wastebasket for size and general durability, you can't go wrong with this wastebasket. I received this product as part of a My-Take Research study.
