The stretchy LYCRA Xtra Life spandex used for these swim shorts lasts up to 10 times longer than ordinary spandex and resists damage from sunblock, sweat and chlorine. Hand wash.
UPF 50 fabric protects your skin and the wide waistband doesn’t dig in or pinch.

I have bought these over the years and have a small collection. I don't tend to use them for swimming in chlorinated pools very often and have never put them in a dryer - I have little to no fading problems and wear them as shorts for all occasions - especially since moving to Florida. The only complaints I see in the comments are the fading from chlorine. Maybe don't advertise them as chlorine resistant and just as a good "bicycle short" as they are great for everything else just as they are. You have not had the Med or Large for many months. Please get more in stock - solids and prints - I love both and I would love to get some more! I see others would like the same!

Bought this for vacation and was happy with my choice,although it was a little larger than needed. I’m 5’3” and 230lbs and would have been happier with the XL instead of this XXL. Went nicely with the swim shorts so I kept it.

I bought these in purple for my daughter to use for teaching swim lessons. They faded soon after using. I contacted the company and they sent a replacement...the replacement pair faded after the second wear. (photo) Still trying to get a return processed for this pair. Nothing special about the pool- HS pool. Her TYR swimsuit and cheap "instructor" swim shirt have had no issues after months in the same pool.

These are exactly what I wanted. I am larger (around 12-14) and so I dont like regular leg suits since it shows too much leg….and the shirts cover more but too much fabric. These are perfect, 6” so not too short and dont add any bulk. Came back to buy more (large) but now out of my size

Love it. I am a large so not a fan of swimwear. The panty bottoms too small and the long board shorts make me look even bigger. These are perfect - wish you did not run out of stock…I just came bak to but the blue and another black but sold out in medium & large - pls get them back!

I hadn’t put on a bathing suit for over 10 years and I wanted to start water aerobics at my gym! Solution? Lands’ End bike swim shorts! I have 3 different swim suits now in 3 different colors and all have the 6” Bike Swim Shorts! AND, I am no longer self conscious to wear a swimsuit and I am doing water aerobics 3 to 5 times a week! It’s been a win/win for me!!

Originally I loved these swim short, but after wearing them to my aqua fit class they started to fade and quickly. They fit wonderfully however they are NOT chlorine resistant. Very disappointing.

Loved these for one summer of only occassional use. After about 8-10 wears, and despite following care instructions, they lost their original bike short-like compression and became saggy and somewhat sheer. When new they had a nice tummy control effect, but that didn't last long.
