    I’ve been buying the black slim leg starfish pants for years. They’re very comfortable and really flattering. I recently ordered a new pair to replace my existing pair, which was slightly faded from being washed. The new pair arrived and was not the dark sharp black that it normally is; the new pair actually looked more faded from my year old pair! I thought maybe LE sent a dark charcoal gray pair by mistake. There is an issue with the fabric that is being used because the color is not correct. I returned the “black” pants that I received and will have to wear my year old and slightly faded black pants because they look much darker than the brand new unwashed ones which I received…Lands End, please fix this!!

    I own several pairs of these pants. They fit me well and wash and wear very well, but every one of them is in a an off-black (faded-looking) color. Why can’t they be fabricated in a true black? Additionally, my newest pair looks like jodhpurs! Unfortunately, I didn’t try them on before washing them, so I couldn’t return. This is so disappointing.

    Now my 4th pair in different styles. These slim leg ones are the best for me so far. They fit well, true to size and wash/wear well. This pair is a bit shorter than my 1st pair so the inconsistency is something LE should look into with their manufacturer. Wish there was a larger color selection especially with a change of seasons.

    Really wish they were longer other than that I have no complaints. I really do love them. The waistband is comfortable & they are soft. When you first get them, they are long enough but if you wash them by label and put them in the dryer and low heat, they still shrink in length:(

    I buy these larger than the size I wear so they fit loose and look like a dress pant. I get more of a classic fitting pant that way. I don't care for slim pants but don't want a wide leg that will be out of style in a couple of years either. I get the perfect pant by going up. I wish they would bring back the coffee color. Please. Hint, hint. ;)

    I so wanted to keep these three pairs of pants but the stitching is defective, causing the fabric to wrinkle at the seams. Also, there was something like glue on one of the waistbands. This is the second time I had to return Starfish pants because of defective stitching. LandsEnd can't seem to resolve quality problems with this product. Why are they still in inventory? I have over the years purchased five pairs of Starfish pants and all of them, before this defective batch, were perfect. Is it a different manufacturer? Is there no inspection process? Sadly, I won't be ordering these pants again.
