Lands' End School Uniform Kids Long Sleeve Interlock Polo Shirt

I purchased these for my grandson. They do not hold their shape. Very poor.

I like these shirts. We use them each year for uniforms. That said, there is a huge difference in size between kids L and XL, and they shrink a good bit with regular wear - so even bigger difference when it’s time to buy the next size so my son looks like he’s wearing his older brother’s clothes! 10/12 to 14/16 just too big a jump.

I bought that last month

the long sleeve shirts never last they end up having holes in them. Everyone complains about.

I've bought several of these polos direct from Lands End at the request of our private school, and while the fabric is soft and comfortable, they don't wear well. They always get large holes at the wrists. For such an expensive shirt ($25+ with the school logo), I would expect better than a $5 polo from Target or Children's Place!!!

I I want to start off by saying I have used Lands End interlock polos for 6 years as my son’s uniform. I wash on Cold and dry on Low. I bought this shirt last summer in size L, it shrunk 4-5 inches. I called and they replaced it for free. The new ones shrunk the same. I ordered the shirt in XL. They shrunk 4-5 inches in one month. They were replaced for free. One shirt was worn, washed, dried, measured against a new unworn shirt. In one washing, it shrunk 2.5” in the back and 2” in the front. They offered to swap them again for me but by the time I receive them, school will be out and we don’t have the designated uniform for my son to wear in the mean time…. Additionally if it is from the same batch, it will just shrink again. I have emailed. I have called. I have sent messages on social media. Not once has a reply said they will look into why this massive shrinkage is happening or that a solution has been found. I am actively working with my son’s school to find a NEW supplier for our school uniforms. The shirts I bought last summer should have lasted the entire year. I and many others at my son’s school are fed up with this shrinkage issue and since Lands End won’t show it is fixing the problem, it will lose our business.

My kid wears these for private school. In the second day of school, the button fell right off. Threading on the buttons are not high quality. However, I called Customer Service & was able to receive two free buttons. The rep said these pearly buttons are discontinued; just happy I was able to get matching buttons!

My daughter has been wearing size L for 3 years, so, in anticipation of her growing over the summer, I bought an XL. I measured it against the most recent Lands End L 10-12 (Same style) and the XL 14-16 is 4 inches longer, 5 inches wider, and 5 inches longer in the sleeves. I tried the XL on and it's too big for me. I wear a women's 6-8 or medium. I can't even fit into the L 10-12. The shirts also arrived with a thick coating of some weird chemical feeling thing. It left a residue on my hand (and on me when I tried it on). I'm very disappointed. I do NOT recommend Land's End. (Sadly I'm stuck with them for the next couple of years bc of school uniforms).

The material used fades so quickly. My son did not even use it a whole semester before it faded. Of all his uniforms, the blue color showed obvious wear and tear with just a few washed. I use tide detergent (not commercializing the brand). I can say it keeps my scrubs decent and always new wash after wash. I'm disappointed in the quality of the material used. These are uniforms and its obvious that the material will be subjected to several washes if not weekly.

Washed cold and hung to dry. Shrunk at least a whole size :(

Solid color and good material. Cut is little small. My boy is turning 10. The shirt said is for 10-12. I don’t think he will be out of it by summer. Shipping is extremely slowww!

Great quality but after shipping, shirt, and logo was twice as much as I pay elsewhere for school uniform clothing.

I wash in cold water and the collar fades terribly. Delicate dry cycle, hang up while still damp. Still fades.

I like the quality. The sizing is not the same as the short sleeved version. Definitely smaller.

I bought this not knowing if it would fit, not knowing what to expect but it worked out ideally for my son and now I know exactly how to make future purchases. I'm so pleased with the quality and the fit.

I bought this top for my son. The top fits him well and looks great on him.

Uniform shirt for high school, soft and so far has stood up well in wash. Run as little on the small side with sleeve length for size. Were not in stock when originally purchased but turned out OK as by the time they arrived fall weather was starting.

These shirts are wonderful. I have one in every color. They wash well, hold their shape and do not fade. Try one, you'll love it.

Fabric is soft but durable. Washes up nicely.

I bought several of these for my granddaughter and thought I would wash them before hanging them up in her closet. After reading the tag and following the washing instructions, I got the shirts ready. I was so disappointed to find the collars rolling and misshapen after the first cleaning. For the price of these shirts, this should never happen after one washing. I guess next year I will buy them from the uniform store. Lands End needs to do more quality testing.
