I liked the look and style of these pants. I just wish they fit in length and around the waist. If you’re short (5’1.5”) the short length is a bit long. Had they fit around the waist, I would likely have cut them to have a raw hem. However, my normal size 6 was so small that I couldn’t even zip them. Disappointed that sizing can’t be more consistent across the same brands. I suggest sizing up at least 1.

the measurement between my waist and hips has a pretty significant difference, so i sized up to account for this, but im also really short, so this led to other problems. the inseam was too long, the waist was too big, and it was still snug on my hips and the tops on my thighs. thankfully, i was able to make alterations to help with the fit because the material is pretty nice. i dont wear a lot of pants because i don't like how they feel, but these are manageable for me. oh, they do kinda make my butt look smaller though, so that might be something to look out for

The black Vintage Straight Jeans by Universal Thread have worked out great for our daughter. She's very tall and was thrilled to get these because they are high rise. The quality of the jeans are good. They have been through several washes (and dryer) with no problems. We hope to see more colors in the future. They are a little bit baggy around the zipper area but that wasn't a deal breaker.

The sizing is off. I ordered a size 6 (which is my usual size for universal thread jeans) and it was a tad bit big. Therefore, I ordered a size 4 and it was tight! I attached a picture of another pair of 90’s straight leg jeans in a different wash so you can see the difference.
