The sections of the desk are well made, strong and the finished desk looks real good. I put the desk together with the help of my wife because there were a lot of parts and pieces. Make sure you know your stuff and take your time to study the diagrams because some of the pictures are not clear as to the position of the certain parts. Example: Parts "V" and "J" are attached and then added fixed to section "A" and "C" but if you do not pay attention to the picture, you can put it in the wrong way. It has been two weeks (03-18-25) since we completed the desk and I am still trying to get the pencil drawer to fit into the desk. :-) There is a lot of hardware with some of the hardware enclosed in plastic with others that are not required for a section until later in the process of putting the desk together. Overall, I would recommend this desk only if you are good at putting things together that has over 200 pieces and the design meets your needs and price point.

The additional storage is flexible, and more than adequate. In addition to being a very attractive piece of office furniture, this desk is easy to assemble. The instructions are accurate and easy to follow. The only times I almost made a mistake was when I had not followed the instructions to the letter. Sauder ready-to-assemble are the mainstay of my office.

we got the desk but the corner of the desk top was damaged so we had to replace that but the company quickly and with great effort replaced the piece without questions and misunderstandings

The interior pieces do not match, there are ugly openings. The drawers don't close. The doors are left ajar. Not worth the cost of the desk at all

Overall, the desk is worth buying with a discount. The instructions for the drawers (Step 6 and Step 23) could be improved so mistakes aren't made.

Took about 3 hours to build, so bring your patience Very sturdy and has a beautiful finish to it. Plenty of storage and has a wide and long desk top so plenty of room to work on.

This is my second Sauder desk. The first one was quality and lasted me fro 1999 - 2022. This new one, the holes were not aligned properly so the drawers don't close all the way, cabinet door is aligned right, and the top is already bubbling and peeling. Now I am stuck with a desk that cost me over $400 and spent days assembling and it is garbage. Save your money and buy a desk that is better quality. Sauder has gotten cheap. I'm so disappointed ☹️

I recently retired and wanted a small desk for office space at home. I ordered a Sauder desk for the good looks and durability. I am pleased with the product. I needed to reorder some brackets and a small front piece, due to our fault in not getting it put together correctly. I ordered the pieces and they arrived promptly. The only down side to Sauder is that you have to put the furniture together yourself. Be sure that you have someone who understands how to follow directions! Great products that dont look cheap!

Very nice desk when assembly is complete. Took about five hours with a skilled handy man. Ran into trouble with parts not noting what side to use where. Had to disassemble a portion to turn the the small drawer the correct way after realizing that it was not assembled correctly. I saw similar comments when I reviewed the product and would hope that Sauder would respond and resolve this issue by marking ""This End Up"". Concerned about the sharpness of the edges and hope that we don't experience chips along the edges. Time will tell. Overall, nice desk at a reasonable price. Am happy that there is a matching file cabinet that I've now ordered to complete the set.

Great looking product. I didnt see an estimate of how long it would take to assemble the unit before starting, but, but it took me almost 3 hrs total (there are 29 steps). Instructions were well illustrated with helpful detail and at times offered encouragement (like: Now would be a good time to refresh your beverage and Just breathe, its going to be okay!). All-in-all having just put it together and spending a little bit of time using it - the desk appears to be worth the cost and effort

Sturdy, but theres too much of a gap on the door. Also, it is very sharp on the top and all around making uncomfortable when you are typing or sitting using the desk

This desk is used in a home/office environment. You will need two people to put together a good portion of the desk. Once installed, I am sure you will be well pleased with the completed product.

Dont get me wrong, this is a really pretty desk once assembled, but the task of assembling should be zero stars. The draw slides, hinges, everything has to be assembled yourself. Dont order unless you have someone to help lift the boxes and an entire day to assemble. It took my husband 5 or more hours to put this together. Had I of known I would have bought something different.

Desk top came out of the box with a noticeable dent that bulged the top surface and a nick in the the opposite side edge that catches on your forearm as you work at the desk. I put glue on the nicked edge to keep the nick from catching on clothing and becoming worse. Unfortunately the dent with the bulge is quite noticeable! The surface feels soft and easy to damage. I'm making sure to always write with a notepad under the document and I put felt feet on the desk accessories to protect the desk top. I do like the color and design and the look of the pull handles. The desk size gives a nice workspace even with a 27"" computer screen. Assembled easily.

The desk is beautiful. I use it in my home office and it is the perfect size for my laptop and two 24 monitors. It also seems well made and very sturdy. I love it!
