Incredibly soft, with a thick rug pad under, it’s comfortable enough to sleep on. My toddler does for naps. Bought the 5’ by 7’. Toddler loved it so much we bought it for the nursery. Bought the 8’ by 10’. It has a strong chemical scent that the smaller one didn’t have. I have opened the window everyday but the scent is still there after a week. Considering returning since the smaller one didn’t have that issue. It is shag, not low pile as stated in description.

We bought this rug for our daughter’s college dorm room. It is perfect. In her words, she is “obsessed” with it. It is very stylish and up-to-date, and super comfortable on bare feet. Really warms the room and makes the acoustics of the room much more pleasing. It was very easy to un-box and roll right out onto the floor. Comes in a variety of sizes, we got the 5x7 which fit our daughter’s room perfectly. Great quality, nice and thick. While we got this for a dorm room, it is definitely of the quality and appearance that would make it perfect for any room in a house or apartment as well.
