    Too Snug to be Deemed “Traditional"

    Have purchased LE casual oxfords such as these for years, but unfortunately these are cut a bit too tight than previously. This is also true of the casual twill shirts. “Traditional” fit shirts should not be this snug, especially since LE offers a “tailored” fit. Just to be certain, I tried on about half a dozen of my old LE casual oxfords, and all fit very well, but not these. Disappointing, as the shirts are soft and have lots of classic features.

    I've had my sail rigger shirts for a couple of years now, and I really enjoy them. I wear them casually - I WFH, so I go untucked, no tie, and pair them with shorts, jeans, chinos, you name it. Overall, the sail rigger is a solid shirt. The cloth is a nice sturdy weight, it's 100% must-iron cotton, and has nice details (locker loop and back collar button). You'd be hard pressed to do better at this price range. All that said, LE could absolutely dominate the oxford shirt space if they committed to a couple extra things. First, extend the collar size! 3.5 inches would enable a nicer collar roll. Second, offer this shirt in more classic oxford shirt colors and patterns (blue university stripe, solid pink, solid mint green, etc.). I would not pay full price for most of the stripe patterns currently offered. LE already has something good going here - they could easily level it up to something great.

    I generally like these shirts, but Lands' End design department leaves me confused. Why is there no interest on their end to offer these shirts with more traditional and preppy colors? They consistently offer white and blue, which is great, but no offerings of university stripe, pink, faded yellow. Even non-traditional colors and patterns are fine, but the ones they offer are colors I don't think I've ever seen people ask for? Nantucket red Oxford shirt? This shirt has a lot of traditional features, even a back collar button, so I think they should go full send and just increase the length of the collar to 3.5 inches. Beyond that, I think they could increase the length of the shirts so they are proper tuck-in shirts and also bump up the length of the sleeves by half an inch as well. I really do like these shirts, but I think they could be a lot better

    Probably have owned a dozen Sail Rigger shirts by now. Super comfortable. Wear a tall size, always fits great. But problem this time. Bought the faded red color, and when I washed it, it bled a couple of other items pink. This happened in two successive wash cycles. Fortunately they were inexpensive items that were easily replaceable. But this is the first time in decades that a Sail Rigger has bled into my other clothes. Disappointing.

    I have bought many of these shirts over the past 10 years and have loved them. I noticed the sizing had changed so I ordered only two shirts this most recent time. I am disappointed and sorry to report the fit has changed. These most recent shirts are baggier and the sleeves are too long. I wore a M/T for yers and something changed. Please change it back!

    Being 6'7", I have never been able to find off the rack button up shirts and I had just about given up on looking. These shirts have been phenomenal! They fit me perfectly and they feel fantastic! Cloth could be a bit thicker, but hey, it's plenty thick as it is. My only real complaint is that they just do not offer this shirt in many nice look colors. Founders Stripe is just not a good pattern and the current striped patterns have stripes that are just way too large, makes you look like you're dressing up as the Beach Boys. They need to have a good white/blue university stripe and more versatile solid color options. Light Pink? Yellow? There's a lot of ivy heritage color choices to choose from and there are really only two available. All I'm saying is, more options!
