Guests have shared mixed experiences with these pouch briefs. Many appreciate the comfortable fit, support, and convenience of the horizontal fly design, which is especially favored for its ease of use. The briefs are also praised for their durable material and the variety of colors offered. However, there are concerns about the waistband quality, with reports of it rolling or not maintaining shape after washing, and some guests have noted inconsistencies in sizing and fit. The briefs are well-liked for their full cut and the support they provide, making them a go-to choice for everyday wear.

Fairly good material quality however it doesn't last very long with the elastic around the waist coming loose from the material. I've had 4 pairs of them that were no longer fastened to the elastic in the waist. I ordered these again after some time to see if the problem was solved.

Ive always preferred full rise briefs. I used to purchase quality department store brands. But the quality and selection has gone way down, as it seems like mist guys prefer boxer briefs now. I ordered Jockey Classic full rise briefs and these full rise Pouch briefs, and am a big fan of both. Excellent quality, full coverage and good support. Got rid of all my other briefs, whole drawer is Jockey now.

Poor sizing. Large are way too big, medium way too tight. I’m 5’8” and weigh 145. I have a 34” waist. Medium should be perfect, but they’re sized for somebody with a 32” waist. Disappointed with Jockey, they should know better.

It's hard to find pouch briefs. These would be great except that the waist band is extremely tight and it's not because I ate too much at Christmas! I wear 36" waist pants and 95% of the pants I try on are slightly loose at 36". These briefs are size 36-38" and are so tight to the point of being uncomfortable. Currently I have them stretching over the back of a chair in hopes of loosening them up. ORDER THEM A SIZE LARGER. Although that might make the butt area baggy.

Changed brands, first jockey underwear in ages, my brand shutdown . I really dislike the S M L sized briefs. I’m a 38 and the L 36-38 is way too tight. Now have 6 pairs that once washed are now uncomfortable. Washed and rinsed in cold water. Why can’t manufacturers use actual waist sizes, like 36, 38 etc. I like the full cut pouch style a nd thought I’d try these since waist sizes were not available just S M L XL. 6 ft tall 199, 38 waist

I bought these , and it was an obstacle course. I had only my Samsung tablet to work with, and either it doesn't like Jockey, or it's the other way around. I could not get them paid for. I tried your chat, and it was no help. At length, I had to find someone with a PC to make the purchase for me. It should not be so hard.

I was looking forward to wearing these 'pouch briefs' and thought the design concept was excellent. I also ordered the traditional high-rise briefs, both styles in size large. The traditional style fit perfectly and are very comfortable; however, the pouch style high-rise briefs feel as if they are size medium. The waistband is too tight and rolls over. I wish I could return them for a larger size.

"Full Rise" = super high rise with waistband at my navel!

Wow, this "full rise" is so high it comes to my navel. I have some Jockey pouch briefs from years ago that I use under my gym shorts to work out. They are low-rise and are great, but need replacing. They are no longer offered so I decided to try these - but it felt like I was wearing grandpa's underwear. Totally didn't work for me so I returned them. If you like this kind of rise, they are probably fine. I like the pouch (but not those stupid show-off pouches that other brands sell) and wish Jockey still made a low or medium rise brief with that feature.

Kangaroo pocket
5 out of 5 stars
MtnGoat - 7 months ago

I am going to give you a comparison between Jockey & Munsingerwear briefs. I have worn Munsinger Wear briefs for many years because I really prefer the kangaroo pocket over the side pockets. The pairs I currently have were getting old, so I went looking to purchase more. Apparently the grey and black colors are no longer available, and I prefer them because they don't show stains as much as the white briefs do. SO, the only decent and reasonably priced alternative was the Jockey brief with the kangaroo pouch. Notice in the picture how they compare. Both sizes are XL. The waists were the same - 33.5", but the Jockey felt a little tighter probably because of a little wider waist band and heavier material. The pocket on Jockey was 4" wide compared to 5" wide on the Munsingerwear. And the distance from the waist band to the top of the kangaroo pocket was 6.5" for the Jockey and only 4.5" for the Musingerwear. The length from the top of the waist band to the bottom of the briefs was 16" on the Jockey, and 13" on Munsingerwear. Some previous reviews complained about that. I found it didn't make much difference for me since I prefer loose fitting briefs. The Jockey waist band is about an eighth inch wider. While I like the older style Munsingerwear colored briefs a little better than the new Jockey briefs, I find both of them to be comfortable and suitable to my needs. I'm 6'2" tall and about 39" under my belly where I wear the briefs. Jockey stretches just fine, but do seem to be tighter than my older ones, but certainly not uncomfortable. I don't have any problem with the waist band curling over - and it should with my current "build". I hope this review helps some of you. I will certainly purchase again if I need anymore before I die. I expect to get several years of wear (3-6 years, maybe more) of of these Jockey briefs. That's what Munsingerwear has done for me, and Jockey seems to be every bit the same or better quality. The packages I received were made in Cambodia.

Disappointed

Quality control seems to be nonexistent. On this order and in previous orders I have gotten some items that are grossly out of size. In this last order, at least 2 or 3 pairs of the underwear were either too small or overly large. In two cases the supposed "pouch" feature was non existent. The pouch was too narrow and had no stretch in the fabric, therefore, no pouch. I'm just surprised that for what I pay for these items does not seem worth such shoddy workmanship.
