I bought this top & matching bottom a couple of years ago in red, it quickly became my favorite bathing suit. On vacation, I thought I lost it and I was so sad. I went on the Lands End site that night to replace it. They didn’t have that color but I bought the same suit in a pretty blue color. The next day, I found the red one so now I have 2 favorite suits. It looks good, is very comfortable and I get a lot of compliments on it!

I ordered this as a basic addition to other swimwear pieces. Easily mix/match item. I'm not crazy about the cups (too big for my frame) but it works and I wear it a lot.

This top looks good on dry land, I was quite impressed. It was bought for Aquafit sessions but as soon as I got in the pool the layers floated up exposing everything I was attempting to cover. I don’t know how this doesn’t happen to others. I can’t say I wouldn’t recommend it to others as there is a recent review that adamantly denies it doesn’t float up, so I suppose each individual has to find out. I am going with a yes as it looks good on.

Fabric was very thin. The bottom was curling up at the hem before it was even worn. There was a fabric bump sewn at the neckline as well. I ordered Turquoise to specifically match my ordered Turquoise board skort and it was a totally different shade and did not match. This top is not up to the usual Lands End standards. It was on sale for a very reduced price which got it a bit higher rating than poor.

I Went for the Flare

I bought this top to go with a pair of Quick Dry Swim Shorts. The main feature of interest to me was the flare at the bottom of the tankini. As an apple-shaped, somewhat lumpy older woman, I did not want a body-hugging top. This one provides a little extra room but is still streamlined. It does not ride up in the water--although I admit that I am not really trying to swim vigorously. Before buying this top, I worried about the reviews that said the bra was hard to get on because the elastic band at the bottom was too tight. I had that problem when I first tried on the top, but all I've had to do is to keep the band smooth and straight and "open" in an oval shape before putting the top over my head.

I haven't actually gone swimming in this yet, but I find this top extremely comfortable and flattering. It's true to size. I have a big tummy for me it covers it nicely without looking like a maternity top. I find the shelf bra very comfortable and it doesn't seem to move around at all.

I wore this top for the 1st time this weekend. This top and another tankini top have the same problem, the material rides up and bunches at the top of the neckline. There is nothing attaching the material to the "under bra" to keep the material in place. I was constantly having to pull it back down into place.
