We purchased these rugs over a year age. They look elegant, well made, and just as they appear in the photos. My only complaint is that they shed. Not in a way that the rug appears to be in poor shape or made of poor quality/materials, but in the way that you need to regularly vacuum if you have allergies. The wool sheds all over. We find that it collects in the air purifier and on the wood adjacent to the runners. If you can get past the shedding, I absolutely recommend these rugs. We have three different styles of Jill Zarin rugs and they are all solid rugs. We’ve returned to purchase a total of four 8x10 or similar sizes, three runners, and one smaller size (around a 4x6) that we put at the front door. They all shed because we purchased all wool rugs. I am posting as 5 stars instead of 4 (shedding) because you should expect a wool rug to shed. If these were made of other materials then I would definitely make it 4 stars with the shedding. We also purchased these rugs during the sales. Fifty to sixty percent off makes it worth purchasing. Otherwise, we simply do not spend that kind of money on rugs. It feels like an incredible deal with the quality of these rugs at the sale price. There is a noticeable difference between the two rug pads. We purchased both to see if we could get away with the cheaper pad for the main rugs. You can, but the extra padding from the more expensive rug pad (performance pad?) is worth the price. We have moved twice with these rugs. They are incredible easy to roll up with the thicker pad rug pad and then lay back down at the new place. Highly recommend.
