Terrible seated position

I've been using this chair with my child for two months and I'm at a breaking point. The positioning is terrible and he always ends up with his butt sliding forward so that he is reclined. We've tried with a tray, without, with a cushion, and nothing is working.
Reclined back, not safe eating position

This high chair was purchased for us from our registry. Although we didn’t spend our own funds on it, I was still included to share our thoughts in order to help other parents. The high chair seems to be well made, sturdy and is certainly less of an eyesore in our dining room than many of the other options out there. However, the back of the high chair is reclined at a decent angle which ultimately causes a choking hazard. Over the past several months of starting solids with our baby we have had to prop towels behind her in order to get her into an upright position. To be clear, she is normally able to sit up fully on her own - this is a flaw in the design of the chair. I now know that babies should always be at 90/90 when eating and that is impossible in this high chair without modification. I don’t know how this high chair is on the market. I could never recommend that anyone purchase for their baby, though it is possible it would work better for an older child. I have never written a review before but felt this info was too important not to share. We now have the mockingbird high chair and highly recommend.
Assembly nightmare for addon

Addon tray has no manual for customer to know how to install, and installing an addon requires a full disassembly to install. Would not recommend for such an incomplete care of the product

Didn't receive the tray table with the high chair. It clearly states it comes with one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chair makes my whole kitchen feel better. It looks beautiful and classic- it goes so well with my mango wood table. It took me 20 minutes to assemble, but it’s very sturdy. Doesn’t wobble at all. Without the tray, my 7 year old likes to sit in it too. I recently sat in it and it is SO comfortable. It’s easy to clean and is just a truly quality chair.
Finally!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a parent of a heafty built toddler, there aren't many options for high chairs or booster seats that support over 50/55lbs. This brand is amazing, it's well built and has multiple things you can purchase to add onto it if you'd like and it supports up to 198lbs! This has been a wonderful product for our family.
We love this chair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this chair for our first daughter and have loved it! It is so functional, the fact that it grows with each of our children reduces the number of baby items we need. We now use it as a chair for our kids at the table- so great!
Very happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall it's a great chair. My child no longer wants to sit on the old ikea chair and asking only for this one. I still have some drawbacks that I found. The test that comes separately is$60 and completely unreachable for me to afford. The baby harness system is also weirdly attaching and my child keeps escaping and can fall off easily, I only buckle her around her waist since she escapes the straps through shoulders. Otherwise it's a good chair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 1 year old grandson. He fits perfectly in it. I do wish it came with a tray and cushion. That would make it perfect. It's sturdy and absolutely beautiful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family has been very happy with this high chair so far. Our kids our 4, 2, and 8 months, so we have been getting plenty of use out of it! It took about half an hour to set up. Right now I have it setup for my 2 year old, but my 4 year old also enjoys using it. Keep in mind that you'll need to loosen the screws in order to change the seat height or footrest height. It seems sturdy and also quite heavy, which is good, as it does not tip over easily. I would be happy to recommend it to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great chair and much more aesthetically pleasing to the ubiquitous plastic ones. The beechwood finish is really nice and looks to be durable. The feet of the chair have nice non scratch plastic piece which makes this good for all floor types. It was easy to put together (my 3yo even helped!) and perfect for my 1yo to use and sit at our kitchen table. Removing the bar and harnesses it makes a perfect seat for older kids as well. Only downside is that this kit does not have a tray to feed babies on. However, I think that is an item available separately! Altogether though this is a great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this high chair it is sturdy and tilt proof without the legs being over angled ,weight wise was not heavy at all to be carried up the stairs . My 7 month old fits perfectly on it even without the cushion , we did add the extra wood provided to be on his torso we struggled a little to add the strap goes between the legs to the harness but we ended up taking the harness off pull the strap that goes between the wood to the seat then put the harness back . Don't forget to not tighten the screws completely when building . We have a high table so we need to purchase the tray or change our table . Table has a good finish to it helps to read instructions fully before building.
