This vinyl-coated safety vest is the perfect way to teach your child how to put on a Personal Floatation Device and help them get used to wearing one in the water. For correct operation, this flotation vest must fit snugly on your child. An adult should always be near when a child is wearing a type III swim vest. Inflatable toys and rafts should not be used in place of vests. When this vest arrived it had visible defects in the material that coats the life vest. Instead of being smooth along the edge that is closest to the neck, it was jagged and sharp. Unfortunately, it had to be returned. Disappointing as we were excited to try this style with our little one. I didn’t want to order another one and have the same thing happen so I went with a different brand and style.

First one I got was defective. See photos. Vinyl wasn't on smooth and covering everything so water could get in and weigh it down. I got a 2nd one and am returning the first. 2md was much better.

We live on a lake and our boys wear these everyday for hours. They are comfortable and dry very quickly as opposed to cloth covered life jackets. They will tear at the top but we had ours for over a year before we noticed much wear and they were used everyday. We purchase these in bigger sizes everytime our boys outgrow them

This is the most comfortable swim vest we’ve found. We used this type for our children and we’re happy to find them available for our grandchildren. Way more comfortable than the popular vests available now. Highly recommend!

I really like this vest for my 3 yr old fits perfectly, she weighs about 32 lbs. The other review is correct, this is a extra small vest for a child 30-50 lbs. If your child is 3 to 5 in age it will most likely fit. Still pricey at the sales price but better quality then most.

In the details it says this jacket is 50-90 lbs and it is not. It’s 30-50 lbs. kind of frustrating that I have to search for another jacket.

Soft material that kept my son feeling safe and secure while he swam. It wasn’t bulky like a traditional life vest and it didn’t ride up, which was nice. He’s too big for a puddle jumper so this was the next best thing. Totally worth the money!

I bought this for my 6 year old daughter. It fits her well & is quite comfortable, well as comfortable as a life jacket can be. I like the bright color. It's easy to spot her when she's swimming in the lake.
