I put the desk together myself and it took about 3 hours. The directions are not terrible, but clearly done by someone who does not speak English so there are only pictures, no written instructions. At times you have to stop and think through how something would work so you don't do it incorrectly. On one of the support pieces, the two screw holes were stripped so I cannot attach the adjoining pieces to it. The instructions say that you can email any issues and they will ship replacement parts in 24 hours. Well, I got a response over 24 hours later that said they didn't have the part in their warehouse and it would be 2-4 weeks before it could be shipped. I don't want to return this fully assembled desk or go through the process again only to find out another part is faulty. Overall, it's not a bad desk but the metal supports/legs are a bit flimsy. Not that I think it won't hold the tops, but we put this together and will load it in a moving truck to another house. I'm concerned about the transport, if it was assembled and just stayed in the same place it would probably be ok. If I would have paid more than $220 for this, I would have been very disappointed. That's about what it's worth.
