I love Land's Ends Canvas Tote Bags. I have bought several as gifts and have one myself that has lasted for years.

I got one of these on a whim (loved the lavender color) and I’m obsessed. I use it for work, I’m a veterinary nurse and it holds everything I need to bring in and out of the hospital. I’m ordering another one for a new beach bag next!

Great sturdy bag, but extremely heavy when not even full. I find it burdensome to hold for long hours with laptop inside. If I had smaller straps, it may be better.

Using this tote as my hand bag and I love it. Plenty of room for my shoes, wallet, hand cream etc.

The quality of this bag is great. I ordered the longer strap length which fits perfectly over the shoulder. That is usually my issue with totes so I love that they offer the longer handles. Wish they offered monogramming but still a good price.

This is my second medium tote with long handles. I added the zip top this time, which I love. They made some updates though, that seem like attempts to cut costs. There are fewer inside pockets, and they shrank the key clip - it’s less than half the size of the former one. This might not be an important feature for everyone, but I use it daily for my office and car keys. It’s much harder to clip keys on since it’s so small. Overall - Lands End’s tote bags cannot be beat - they are extremely durable - my other one lasted for 4 years - I only am replacing it because it has gotten dirty.

The medium is perfect size for work/school. Room for computer and folders and all the other stuff. It’s cute and sturdy. Love it!

This is my go-to baby gift for friends and family. Put the name or initials of the baby on the bag and they can use it for years. My 12 year old and 10 year old are still using the ones I was given when they were born.

I just got this bag (size medium, long handle, zip top) the size is perfect for what I need and yes it is super sturdy, I haven't used it yet and I know it will last for years. I got it for school to carry my laptop, water, small items, and whatever books I may need. I will say, I'm pretty perplexed as to why the laptop sleeve doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the bag. With the way it's constructed, the entire weight of the laptop is held by only one strap, and makes it 10x more uncomfortable to carry, especially if the items in the main compartment of the bag don't weigh much. This seems like a huge design flaw, as laptops are likely the heaviest item that will be carried in this bag for most people. Also, the color way I wanted (natural) only came in the zip-top option, not open top, and even though I thought the zipper would be nice for privacy, I really wish I had it in the open top option instead. The part of the bag that zips shut is really wide and gets in the way of me accessing the inner pockets easily. If I kept a small notebook in the inner pocket, I'd have to like, maneuver it out of the top of the pocket but under the zipper flap to get it out. If this bothers me when school starts up next week I'm probably going to just cut out the zipper flap part altogether even though that feels crazy to do on a brand new bag. With that said, I'm the pickiest person I know, this is the fourth time I've tried to buy a school bag and even with the aforementioned complaints, it passes the test.

Great durable bag. It's a very nice looking bag. I chose the long handle option with zipper in the olive green color accent and I love it. It is very heavy duty and I expect it will last for many years to come.

I have had one of these for 10 years, so I decided to get one for my daughter and step daughter. I had each of their initials put on it. My daughter loved it and will use it a lot over this next year on her wedding, grad school and work. My step daughter loves it also and will use it with her daughter. Practical and much appreciated gifts!
