Women's Knit Ballet Midi Shift Dress - A New Day™

I love this dress. It runs a little big, I usually wear a small but I went with the XS and it fits well. I'm 5 ft 5 and 130 lbs for refrence. Perfect for wedding vendors. I even bought a backup.

It’s so comfy and flattering! I got black and hope they make some other colors (not a fan of the other colors they currently have).

I was skeptical when I bought this, but I love it! The fabric is nice and thick, not see through at all. I think the neckline is very flattering and covers up my cleavage well enough. The slit is fun, and bonus points for having pockets! Sizing seems to run true to size. I would buy this in additional colors.

I have this dress is blue and have loved it! It can easily be dressed up or down and is so comfy. I love that is also has pockets. I've worn it for a formal event and Easter and have a wedding coming up that it will work for too! A lot of use out of a $2) dress. Definitely recommend!

Bought XS, and like the fit. It was neither loose/tight. Pro: At 5ft1in tall (approx 100lb) , the dress skimmed my ankles. I like the length and the weight of the fabric. The top portion is fully lined so that is a huge plus! And it has pockets! Love the design (high back and modest neckline/strap) and am impressed that this is from Target! Con None currently since I’ve not washed/worn it out. Hoping that it will be a timeless and quality piece!

This dress is very flattering and tts. It’s forgiving in all the right places and the blue is fabulous. I’m a true size 8. I’m not one to deny my size. I’d say the size medium is a good fit for a true size 8-10. Maybe a small size 12.

The olive was more beige than olive and didn't look nice. Some people can pull this off, but not myself or my daughter

Versatile dress! Love it

I love that it's modest. Slit was not an issue where it usually is for me since I'm short. The reviews saying it's big must be wanting to show off every curve. In that case, go buy a bodycon dress. I'm surprised the coral color sold out first because it's definitely see-through, especially when using your pockets. Might work with some white shorts underneath but I didn't want to deal with that so I'm returning the coral. The blue is gorgeous and maybe in the bright sun ever so *slightly see through, but you'd have to be looking pretty hard to notice. The flowiness of the fabric is beautiful imo and not maternity at all, although it would also make a very pretty and comfy maternity dress. As someone who used pre pregnancy clothing all 3 trimesters through 5 pregnancies I find it hard to label anything strictly maternity. You either have a baby bump or you don't. Wear whatever you like. :)

Love this dress! I'm a photographer, so I purchased for working weddings. Long enough not to have to worry about flashing anyone. Professional yet comfortable, modest yet classy. 10/10

Beautiful color nice design wonderful fabric it was just too big

I have purchased various different dresses from Target in the past and this may be my favorite!! The style and quality are outstanding as always. The dress has a side split which makes it easier to wear and so on point with current trends. The fabric is a good quality and not cheap or thin. I also purchased this in white and the fabric covers well with no see through ( so no bra needed at least for me). The squared neckline compliments the look of the dress and is not too revealing. A lovely addition to my wardrobe!!!!

This is a beautiful dress. Well made, soft fabric, blue is gorgeous. Love the pockets and very figure flattering.
