Women's Classic Rose Linen Fit and Flare Midi Skirt - kate spade new york x Target Green/Blue

The skirt looks amazing online, but unfortunately doesn’t look quite so nice in person. One issue is that these are slightly off-center (I ordered in three sizes and all are like that). The side seams pucker a bit and don’t lie nicely. This is partly due to that I think is probably the biggest issue with the skirts: the liner should have been made of a satiny/smooth fabric. Even if the exterior was to be this matte finish, the outer layer catches and clings to the lining, so it pulls oddly as you walk or sit, requiring constant adjustment. It would drape far better without the lining or with one that didn’t restrict the outer layer at all. I’m a girl with almost no waist or hips (waist 34” and hips 37”) and wear a 4, 6 or 8 in most bottoms as I have thin legs and a flat butt (and no hips), so I was quite surprised that this skirt made me look incredibly hippy. I assume it has to do with the bias cut and ruffle and mermaid shape, but having broad shoulders and a long torso, this looked absurd on me. I was one big triangle with tiny little ankles sticking out. If you have an hourglass figure, I can see this looking great on you, if you can tolerate the constant rearranging of the skirt due to the lining issue. If you have an athletic build and are small on top, this could also work. But my fellow triangles/apples/long torso friends, this one is not for us. Don’t be too sad, as it would likely drive you nutty with the tugging and twisting and it never lying flat.

I'm a curvy size 6 and bought a medium and it was too loose, so definitely do your normal size! It's also pull-on, but the mermaid cut is very flattering!

Pretty skirt but felt twisted on and sadly, just wasn’t flattering on me. I’m 5’4”, 111# and the size Small was what I tried on.

The elastic area was very sloppy it was not attached correctly to the material the skirt was made wrong.

Seriously love how it fits and looks! Getting tons of compliments! I love KS but so to own some of their clothes for plus size is great!!! Bring back KS!

Really pretty, blend of linen and rayon. Maybe runs a bit large for me? 29 inch waist and 39 inch hips and the M was sagging off my waist and loose around the hips (not snug fit like the model). Unfortunately everything is sold out so I guess ima have to mend it

The bright green and pale blue color combo of this beautiful floral skirt is on pointe Kate Spade. The pull on style makes for an easy and comofrtable fit, however this skirt runs a size small. I had to size up from my usual M to a L. Can't wait to pair this beauty with a white tee and sandals. This skirt looks like a more expensive piece and is a must have for spring/summer!
