As other reviews have noted the fit on these is odd and inconsistent with other Lands End jeans/pants. They fit like bootcut or flares. Tight on thighs with a very clear flare at calf -- not straight legs at all. Plus, they run small. I just purchased LE cream jeans size 6, perfect fit. These size 6 cords were quite tight. Overall fit was unflattering.

I like these pants. I’m older, and the mid rise suits me - I think it’s a lot more flattering. I’d like these to be a touch darker - really deep black. I feel like they run just a little small - I usually order 8s and 10s, but need a 12 in these for them not to be super form-fitting. Well made and nicely styled - essentially corduroy jeans. I’m tall, but a Regular with 32” inseam is plenty long for me.

Be careful. They’ll get you hooked and then you’ll want more colors. I am a bit shy of 5’ 10”, 144 lbs. I bought a size 2. They’re a little bit too tight. Am I returning them? No. They look great. I’m just buying another pair in size 4. When they come out with more colors, I will buy those too. Be careful. If you buy these, you just might get hooked. They have less Stretch than the wide whale ones, but they’re terrific.

Absolutely horrible . I like cords to keep me warmer during winter months . These are see through ! So thin , fit is terrible extremely bad quality. I will be donating them to my local Salvation Army . I am feeling kind of done with Lands end .

Had to return, not the same fit

I bought these because a had a black jeans pair from the same line from a couple of years ago, they fit perfectly. These are not the same cut, they bow out at the hips, making my hips look unflatteringly wide. I returned them. I don't understand why Lands End changes existing lines, making it impossible to depend that repeat orders will fit the same!

Having had straight leg cord trousers from Land's End for many years. Fit has changed and so has material. Material is not as thick, in my view not quite as good. Fit is tighter on legs. Not as straight. Compared my older trousers with newer ones. Still the trousers that work best for me. Perhaps LE could produce another straight legs type trousers that are not as tight on the legs.

I've already got several pairs of what I thought would be the same style but the sizing seems to have changed. For my UK 14 the US 12 has always been fine, but these US 10s were described as the equivalent size. They were too small so I returned them. I could have then got the larger size but the colour was brighter than it looked in the catalogue...almost fluorescent... and I wasn't keen on that either.

I am 5’8 162 lbs, not curvy. I bought a size a size 12, thinking they might run small. The length was perfect - I have a 32” inseam but the hips were too big. These pants must be made for a curvier woman. I really liked them so I just took them in a few inches and they fit perfect. Probably should have bought a 10 tho.

These are more like a high rise than midrise and there is no stretch to them. They have a weird fit as well. Loose and baggy around the groin area, tight on the thighs. The color is toffee. I wore them so I can’t return them but I wouldn’t buy them again.
