The rug looked great when it first arrived. It did have a very unpleasant scent but it went away with time. The problem is that the color on the rug is printed on. It washes off with any attempt to spot clean it. Having pets a rug that isn't OK to spot clean wasn't goingtowork. After just a few months we threw it away.

Target offered the best price for this rug from several different sites. The texture on it gives a fun take on an otherwise simple rug. It fits into my classic dining room with modern organic touches. It is a bit difficult to vacuum, and does shed, but overall I am very pleased with it. 8x10 was a good size for us.
