Great idea but didn't work for me. The screws I think are too short and don't connect properly to the base of spider. I had to jerry-rig it so it would work on boat but not sure it's gonna last.

The packaging for the screws and bolts is quite small and may have fallen out of the packaging when opened. We understand your frustrations and would like to make this right. The sand bag base has been effective at holding the Repeller on the bow of our boat even on the windiest of days. We've had no issues of it sliding or moving around.

I had a sand bag base for a few years. It worked well on my boat. On the most recent base that I ordered, one of the black tethers attached to the base was of poor quality and tore after two weeks.

It does not spin around in the wind as designed. Nor does prevent birds from landing in my boat. Very disappointed.

Hi Mark, thank you for reaching out to us. W're sorry to hear the Repeller 360 unit you have received is not spinning as it should. It sounds like the removable pressure fit top may have been slightly derailed during the shipping or installation process. Don't worry, the fix is quite simple. You can remove the rotating top and slowly reattach it to the base. The following video will help walk you through the troubleshooting steps (https://youtu.be/UsWnVQZOmaI?t=11). If your repeller continues to not spin, please give out customer support team a call at 1-800-392-6915. If this is the case you may have received a defective unit and we would be happy to replace it.
