I've owned this for a month now and although the size and design is perfect for our craftsman style home, it sheds pretty badly. Despite an initial thorough vacuuming upon arrival, the carpet continues to shed excessively. Each cleaning session fills an entire vacuum canister with carpet fibers, which is both frustrating and time-consuming. Even worse, the white fibers from the carpet become embedded in our clothing, causing skin irritation, not to mention the enormous amount of carpet hair on the hardwood floor.
