The Sun Zero 5/8" Wrap Around Room Darkening Curtain Rod is designed to wrap around your window frame to save energy, block light, and reduce noise.
The black and satin nickel finished steel telescoping rod adjusts from 28 to 48 inches or 48 to 86 inches in length to fit a variety of window sizes and projects 3.125 inches from the wall. New and improved stronger metal brackets install quickly and easily while concealing the mounting screws and hardware. Use in your kitchen, bedroom, dining room, or living room to hang light to medium weight curtains. It is ideal for hanging curtains with grommets, back tabs, or pockets, but can also be used with tab tops or clip rings.
Pair with Sun Zero curtain panels (sold separately) to maximize energy saving, light blocking, and noise reducing features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rod wraps around making the curtain tuck into the window seal hiding the sun. Being a grave yard shifter these rods are amazing at keeping the sun out making things extremely dark so i can sleep

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great curtain rod by Sun Zero. It allows the curtain to wrap around the sides to block additional sun that peeks through there. The black color is like the oil brushed bronze that is popular for bathroom accessories so it matches those finishes really well. I wish the arms were a bit longer so the curtain would hang further out from the window but it is very sturdy. It fits a window with the range of 28” to 48”.
Nice looking and keep the light out.

We use blackout curtains but my husband works shifts and really needs it to be dark when he has to sleep during the day. This actually helped keep that little extra bit of light from creeping in from the edges of the curtains. I do wish the pole was a little thicker than it is but it looks nice anyway. The installation instructions were simple enough and the hardware was included. I did end up using different hardware, but only because our old house still has plaster walls so we used hardware specifically for plaster. The pole is lightweight and sturdy but curtains can be heavy so we thought it better safe than sorry. Overall, I think this is a good buy and I’m thinking about getting more to switch out the old brass poles we have in the den.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was easy to install. The rod has a rough texture so curtains are hard to open and close and it sounds like the fabric is catching. Grommet curtains would probably work much better. It did block the light out so that is great!

We have an outside light by the door and it always manages to shine into our bedroom at night through the sides. This rod allows the curtain to wrap close to and against the door so no light filters in. Easy to install and matches the hardware in my house. Seems strong and hopefully it will last a long time.

The product was super easy to install and is made of top quality materials. I wish I had found this years ago! The result allows for beautiful sheer drapes to be exposed when I adjust the room darkening panels for exposure during the day but at night, I can close the outer panels for better light blockage in the morning. Overall, i would highly recommend this product for its ease of installation and it’s durability that will last for years to come! 10/10!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, I installed the rod. At first look, it seems farely simple to install. My problem was the screwing of the screws. The design of the base where the screws are screwed, it is built in a way you can't see the screws to line it up correctly with the screwdriver. Not only that, but that also prevents one from using a electric screwdriver cause it can't get all the way in. So started off with an electric, but finished with a manual. But it's up and I have two panels of Blackout and two panels of sheer curtains hanging and it's holding.

Fits my window perfectly at 48" and with my darkening curtain on the Sun Zero rod there are no gaps of sun pouring in above or on the sides which is exactly what I needed to keep the room dark in the morning to get a few.more zzz's.

This one is perfect! It was easy to install and seems very durable. Soon as I installed them and hung the curtains the transformation was immediate! Thanks my son is thrilled.

It looks very nice too, not like some rods that look bulky or just blah. I used with a set of subzero curtains, and there is no bending or bowing of the rod. I will definitely be purchasing more of these rods for the rest of my windows.
