Sun Zero 5/8" Room Darkening Tension Rod

Seems to be sturdy enough to hold up room darkening curtains, which are pretty heavy, without any issue. Seems like a better choice compared to installation rods that require tools and leaves holes in the wall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own a 300+ year old home & finding curtain/drape rods are a constant challenge; after repairing the many antique window wooden frames & trim, I loathe the thought of nailing/screwing any type of curtain/drape hardware on them. The Sun Zero Tension Rods are an excellent solution! Not only are they practical, but the styling & color choices offer an attractive & neutral option for curtain/drape designs. I’d also recommend for other uses such as utilizing them for hanging curtains/drapes in odd shaped doorways if you can’t install doors, a good example being that we have a small converted pantry used as a laundry room off our kitchen. The wife is very happy! Highly recommend!

The Sun Zero tension rod does not require any tools for install. Threading your curtains is as easy as pie and placing the rod is just the same. Using the Sun Zero tension rod ensures no damage to your home and still enables you the privacy of curtains. Perfect for sheer curtains that let in a little light or for complete blackout curtains used to ensure total darkness. I found the install directions on the back of the packaging very clear and easy to follow, I was done in under ten minutes. I am so please that I was able to redecorate with the tension rod and not need anyone to help. I definitely recommend to anyone who needs to add a little more decor to their home and doesn't want to cause any damage. 10/10 would use again!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am all about saving energy and the sun zero room darkeening rod is somthing i was excited to try. The first thing i like about it is that no tools are required.I read the directions and was pleased that it was so easy to put up! I used it in my bed room window and it does a good job of blocking the light. I did not hear much difference with the noise reduction though. I like the black color because i hung a dark drapery on it. Now i need to get another one for my other window!

I figured it out using common sense and was able to install the curtain rod easily after that. It is durable and zero sunlight shines through, which is my main goal. I have a two year old daughter and she was ripping my previous rod and brackets down so with this rod I don't have to worry about damage to my wall. If she pulls it down I simply reinstall within seconds.

I work third shift so sun light is not my friend while trying to sleep. This tension rod fits so snug to the window no light seeps in. It has a great modern design that would fit in bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, etc. you name it, it'll be a chic addition to your home. Installing requires no tools!! Just place inside the window walls and it does adjust so don't panic if it seems it won't fit.

When ur single and u have no man hands around u have to improvise.. this was so easy for me to put together no tools no stress and no man needed ! Keep out the sun rod goes inside the window panel not outside . Nice and dark
