Q: Why does this wooden board smell so strongly of something liked smoked ham? I will likely be returning this product unless the manufacturer/distributor has a solution.

A: Clean by hand washing with warm water and mild soap and use a food grade mineral oil after cleaning every 3-4 weeks.
