This is a great product; I was able to try it once (I'm in CA) but for some reason it's now no longer permitted to be shipped here. The flavor is excellent, it's unsweetened so you can add the amount of stevia or agave that YOU prefer and it can help wean you off sugar by making it less sweet. Great job... too bad Californians can't have it anymore. WAH!

This is a quality rice protein and it's surprisingly cheap! However, this is literally the worst tasting protein I've ever used. But hey, it's cheap and its vegetarian if not vegan so I don't mind. I just suffer through the chalky nasty. I'm not sure if this type of protein helps my body recover as quickly as other whey proteins I've used, but I feel better in the long using this, so I know my body appreciates the suffering. Also, no scoop inside the package, so better have a tablespoon! Also, the vanilla taste just as bad, so just get that kind because it has more protein per serving.

I've been trying different protein powders this past year. This was the first time I tried this brand and flavor. Overall, I like it, it's good but not great. The flavor is not very strong, which may or may not be an issue for you. I would like to taste a little more chocolate flavor myself.

Lost 20 pounds in 5 weeks using this powder as part of my morning and afternoon smoothie. The chocolate goes great with frozen blueberries or strawberries. It made dieting more enjoyable when I actually looked forward to my smoothies. I'll be ordering this as long as I am on this special diet which could be a long time.

no flour fudgy brownies, the low carb way! Great consistency for baking, probably a little too gritty for smoothies. For a desert recipe you will want to add more cocoa and sweetener. Really apreciated the lack of artificial sweeteners.

This chocolate flavor of rice protien is the best I have ever found. The quality of protien is great per serving and it mixes so well in water, or almond milk and tastes just like a hot chocolate heated. I put it in my smoothies during the day and it keeps me full. There is not and added ingredients or sugars wich is great keeping carbohydrates low and protien high in anyone's diet. I'd recommend over any other protien for the lactose intolerant person.

I am surprised so many can't stand the taste of this one. I tried Jarrow's rice protein and it was totally disgusting, but this one I liked just fine with Stevia. It also low carb and has a good protien profile, so I think it's good if you want a vegan protein and the price isn't bad, either.

I have had many different protein powders, both whey based and plant based. I like several from that I've had from Swanson Vitamins. However, I did not like the taste of this one at all. If you want a plant based chocolate protein, go with the Life Basics pea, hemp, chia blend, or try another one, but this one tastes terrible in my opinion.

I couldn't stand it mixed with milk or water or juice alone. Then I tried tossing it in a blender with milk, ice cubes and a banana. Now I love it and look forward to having a shake every day.

I knew that this protein powder was unsweetened, so I sweetened with Stevia. However, no matter how much sweetener I added, it tasted like horrible chalk. I don't know how else to use it.
