About the Author
Meet Dash! Ever since he was two years old, Dashiell Hsu has been mixing, rolling, and decorating all kinds of yummy treats. Before he was born, his mommy, Agnes, was a baker and had five bakeries! Wistfully, she gave it up and thought her baking days were over--until Dash came along! His excitement for sweets rekindled her love for baking. She now supports Dash's passion, shared enthusiastically on his Instagram @DashBakesTheGreats. Dash's love for treats keeps the oven warm, the sprinkles flying, and his cat Kiki happily watching in their Southern California home. Dash and his mom bake with love, laughter, and hope to inspire other families to bake together.
Born and raised in Southern California, Kathy Lam is a Teochew (Chinese)-American artist who loves all things cute, punny, and wholesome. When she's not designing books or doodling adorable animals, you can find her playing cozy games, trying out new crafts, or watching the latest anime or k-drama. Kathy also loves sweets - her favorite dessert is mango sago tapioca pudding, and her go-to boba order is jasmine green milk tea (half sweet, light ice, and no toppings).
