Just horrible. Did a root touch up and the top of my head and roots and front are bright RED, not auburn. The color did not take on the length and my hair is as stiff as straw. Now have to recolor with a brown I guess to tone it down and even it out. Have never had such a poor coloring experience and have been doing it myself for decades. Do not recommend.

This shade or violet is far more red than purple. I’m incredibly disappointed I was looking forward to a nice understated dark violet like the picture and my hair looks identical to when I dyed it burgundy. So now I have to go buy a different box of color and re-dye my hair.

It made my roots orange/red. Very disappointed in the color because it didn't properly color the ends so it's giving reverse ombre. Not the vibe I was going for. I wanted a shade or two lighter color with the dimensions.
Do not buy V2 shade and expect purple :(

“Violet” looks nothing like it does on the box! It is a dark red with slight hint of purple. Extremely disappointed!

I have used this colour for the past 7 years with no issue. I loved it as did others as it was frequently sold out in stores The recent change with the formula with the oils has more of a red undertone and looks different. They also give way less conditioner than previous in a small bottle that is extremely hard to get all of the product out of. Overall, terrible updates to a previously good product. Need to find a replacement asap.

The hair dye didn’t fry my hair so I guess that’s good. However, I purchased Intense Dark Violet to go over my light brown hair. The color came out Fire Engine Red. Do not recommend this color as it isn’t accurate.

I have been buying the Garnier Nutrisse Soft Black dye for years & it's always covered my dirty blonde hair well with a nice dark colour. This is my go-to hair dye. Well this time when I went to buy my usual dye I noticed the box had changed to new packaging but hoped for the same product. When i went to use it at home I found the new materials packaging to be problematic. The dye bottle itself seems to be poorly designed in that I had a hard time getting the dye to dispense. The new oil packet didn't snap open so I had to cut it. But my BIGGEST problem with this new version of the dye is that it is definitely NOT the same product I've been using for years. This time it went on green which made me quite concerned. When I washed my hair out & dried it my roots were not black, but rather a green-tinted brownish colour. My roots are still very light & noticeable & the colour is so ugly. What a waste of money & my time. Whatever you have changed to the formula has made this unusable for me. After being a faithful customer for years, I will no longer be buying Garnier Nutrisse hair dye.

I’m honestly shocked by the bad reviews. I did br2. It came out beautiful. This stuff was super easy to rinse out in the shower also. I used Féria last time and I felt like no matter how much I rinsed in the shower, it was messy! My hair was also super soft from this and easy to brush after rinsing out. I’m happy and impressed. Dislike would be the smell was strong! Had to crack a window
