Q: So I love these Chicken Pot Pies...but my microwave went on the not working list!! so tried to cook in new microwave & its not cooking right! it is a 1100 watt. I have wasted 4 pot pies because of this!!

Indulge in nothing. These are garbage. Buy a couple yourself and see. Pumped with fillers, High Sodium and Cellulose. Another Conagra waste. These are not the same as in past days. Very disappointing and a complete waste of money. Read the reviews elsewhere. Yuck.

I have contacted ConAgra Foods before concerning this product. At that time it was due to one (1) piece of chicken in the pie. Decided to have another chicken pot pie this morning after work. I not only made a Marie Callender's chicken pot pie but also Banquet chicken pot pie. As you know, the Banquet is quite less expensive than Marie Callender's brand. Prepared both as directed on the box. The moral of this story is the Marie Callender's chicken pot pie needs more gravy. The Banquet pot pie's gravy ran all over the plate. So for this review, ConAgra needs MORE gravy, at least in the chicken pot pies. I'm sorry, but Banquet out performed Marie Collender this time. By the way, both had plenty of chicken and vegetables.

Retried your chicken pot pie,it’s was great,will definitely start buying again,when Covid was going on your chicken was so chewy we couldn’t eat them,bought again same way. Now the chicken was tender. No chewy inedible pieces. Great improvement!!

These have gotten so bad over the years. There is no filling. Huge pieces of chicken with tough parts I. Them. Not many vegetables. Not enough sauce. Crust has also gotten worse. And to top it off you can’t open the package.

I bought this today for lunch and I’m so disappointed. This is my “treat” food and it’s nothing like it used to be. The sauce is strange, more like a bland bouillon thickened with cornstarch when it used to be rich. Lots of carrots, 2 peas and the chicken bits had gristle so I couldn’t chew enough to swallow several. The crust isn’t flaky, just mushy and the edges burned while trying to cook longer for better texture.

My husband and I both ate the chicken pot pie and had terrible intestinal pain and IBS. We always loved Marie Callendar's pot pies but something has changed in the ingredients like "Carrageenan." After researching this emulsifier I am wondering why we even put this in our food? "Degraded carrageenan, or poligeenan, is not safe to eat. Research in animals indicates that it causes gut tumors and ulcers, and may even trigger colon cancer. Because of the possible danger, fewer studies have investigated the potential effects in humans." I hope you can make an organic version of your pot pie because we are not the only ones this food additive is affecting.

Haven't tried these in years and I must say, very disappointed. There's hardly any gravy inside. This is the dryest thing I think I've ever had. The pot pie was basically hallow on the top side. Meat and veggies we're there but not edible do to how dry it was. I will not be purchasing these again. Stop being stingy on the gravy! It's literally what makes a pot pie good!

I heated the individual large size chicken pot pie in the microwave oven according to the instructions on the box package. I’ve had these in the past and enjoyed them very much but I was unable to eat this one. The ingredients in the crust were dry and tasteless. There was no gravy at all. It was as though the liquid ingredients had been omitted.

Gonna have to add our disappointing review to here! Also been buying for years, but looking like it may be the end of an era! Not nearly as much filling, leaving you with way too much crust/dough. It's tge best I’ve had since Stouffer’s stopped making theirs MANY years ago! I loved theirs. Like a kid, I even licked the dish to get it ALL, Their sauce was beyond delicious! Since then, I’ve searched and finally came across Marie calendar's. They are, sadly, NOT as good as the Stouffer‘s used to be, but they’re the best I’ve tasted in a long time. My only request would be that they put a little sauce in a separate container that you could heat up and put on the pie after it’s cooked. Without that, the sauce is absorbed too quickly into the crust and you get virtually no sauce as you’re eating the pie. Thank you, Marie Calendar, for making a chicken pie that is edible. I have it for dinner many nights. Sometimes for lunch and dinner! Being disabled makes it really hard to find the motivation to cook. I often eat junk food instead of a good meal. But, now.I know I can always have a meal waiting for me in the freezer. Thank you again.

Top crust is buttery and flakey. There are huge chunks of white meat chicken and frozen carrots, peas, and celery. I wish the button crust wasn’t as doughy and it was par baked so it didn’t take an hour.

Poor quality noted the meat is definitely fake, the crust is dry and thicker so as not to add more meat, gravy, and vegetables. Poor quality do not buy !!!!!
