A: I believe almost all Oscar Mayer lunch meat items are Nitrate & Nitrite free. The best place to see if a specific item has the "no nitrate" claim is the right-hand side on the front of the packaging. (typically the 3rd carousel slot on Target.com). All turkey and ham SKUs should be safe; the only items that may contain nitrate/chemicals are Oscar Mayer bologna, fully-cooked chicken strips & roast beef. The Oscar Mayer "Natural" line is all safe as well, including the roast beef variant. Hope this helps!

I bought this product for breakfast but it is too salty for me, it gets better if you try it on a sandwich tho. The amount of product is ok for the price. The taste is nothing out of ordinary, it taste to chicken. Level of recommendations is 4 in a scale of 1 to 5.

I love the au jus spud at jasons deli and Oscar Mayer has sliced roast beef that tastes wonderful! I don't see how there is any way to improve this product. But totally put this on your baked potato and put some onions as well as mushrooms, topped off w a slice of provolone on top....delish!!! I ended up buying two packs cuz I go thru this weekly!

This is one of the few lunch meats that I can pair with other meats but absolutely don't need to because it stands on its own just fine! I do wish the pieces were a bit bigger as it seems to be sized for standard bread loaves and it takes quite a bit of the package to cover any other kind of bread. so prepare to only get 2-3 sandwiches out of a package.
