Pack of 6 pairs
The Hanes Premium Men's X-Temp Ankle Socks come in a convenient 6pk. Featuring X-Temp technology, these socks adapt to your body temperature, keeping your feet dry, cool and comfortable. These ankle length socks wick moisture away from your skin and with all over cushioning, you'll never want to take them off. Best of all, they have our Comfort Toe seam, which is our most comfortable seam ever. Available in a black pack and a white pack, sizes 6-12.
The socks have received mixed feedback from guests, with many praising their comfort and cushioning, while others express disappointment over quality issues such as holes developing quickly and discrepancies in material composition. Guests appreciate the softness and fit of the socks, making them suitable for everyday wear. However, concerns about the increasing use of polyester and reduced cotton content have left some guests frustrated, leading to a search for alternatives.

I have been buying these socks and these socks alone for years at this point. They are soft, cushioned, wash well, absorb sweat and odor excellently, and last a long time. I have incredibly wide ankles and the band is stretchy enough to not even be noticeable, let alone cut off circulation. Never found a more comfortable and functional black sock. Buy them! You won’t regret it.

Hanes seems to be increasing polyester use. Web specs show 54% cotton, label lists 45% cotton. 🦶🏻🧦

The quality of these socks are terrible. Within two months I am down to two pairs. I do not use them for working out or anything strenous, just for everyday walking and wearing of shoes. They develop holes in the strangest places-- a few on the heel, some at the toes, some on the side where nothing rubs anywhere. This is the second time i have purchased this brand and the other set is long gone as i thought it could have been a production fluke on the other set. But no. These are simply poorly made.

I brought a pack of these socks a couple months ago. I hate them! I thought they'd be good because of the extra cushioning and they were. What I didn't expect is how small they are. They slide down into my shoes constantly. I've never had another sock do that before. Then I noticed while folding laundry that they were significantly smaller than my older Hanes socks. I still had the packaging as I hadn't worn all of them yet, these were definitately my size (12) but they were way too small right out of the package. Notice the size difference in the picture for new, crappy Hanes socks, versus old, quality Hanes socks. These did not live up to my expectations from Hanes and are vastly inferior to every other sock I have ever worn.

These used to be my favorite socks when they were made with cotton. Now they are 97% polyester and make my feet sweaty and uncomfortable. It’s frustrating that the product description says they are 49% cotton while the product I received is polyester. I haven’t been able to find the cotton ones for over a year now. Super disappointed.

Idk what happens to the quality they use to be thick and soft and comfortable. Now they are like regular socks and they look like they are make out of something other than cotton. Not worth 16-17$

these were my go to socks for years. they used to be thick, comfy, and dry. now they're really thin, entirely polyester with no cotton like they used to have, there's a seam at the toe, and my feet are nonstop sweaty all the time. they don't breathe at all. I'm super frustrated and disappointed.

I've been buying these socks for 5 or 6 years. Used to look forward to a new package every X-mas. The black ultra cushion ankle socks used to be amazing. I probably still have around 20 pairs of these still because the bottom cushioned soul/heel/toe was, well, ultra thick, soft, comfy. They rarely wear out. Best part was my feet would never sweat and I never felt the front toe seam. Now it's just very thin material all the way around and not at all comfortable when I'm walking all day for my job. I'll keep checking them when Im at the store to see if the quality goes back to normal, until then I'll have to find a new favorite sock.

I bought these for my tween son and I can feel the difference between these and his other socks. After laundry when I put my hand in to turn these inside out they just feel so plush and soft. I’ve never enjoyed putting my hand in a sick before. LOL, I do with these though. Also, most of my son’s socks end up with holes fairly quickly but these are holding up nicely so far. I will be buying more.

My son likes these socks fine. They're not his favorite, but they keep his feet cooler and dry while at school. Pretty much all we were looking for!

I have a small shoe size - only mens US 7. These socks stretch out and are tight. They actually put my feet to sleep since they cut off my circulation.

That's the level of comfort you can expect from Xtemp socks. The "help[s] you stay cool and dry" tag line couldn't be further from the truth. I put these things on and my feet are hotter than they are from my thick, cotton, tube socks, and I'm sweating within minutes. Dear Hanes, I know you won't listen to this, but please bring back the formula from 20 years ago. That's when you actually made good products.
