A: To preserve the look and performance of your pans, we recommend using silicone, nylon, bamboo or wood utensils when cooking. Using metal utensils or sharp objects may damage the cooking surface over time and void the warranty.

A: The Tramontina Style Ceramica 11 in. Square Grill (UPC# 016017080904) is constructed of heavy-gauge aluminum and has a metallic copper porcelain enamel exterior that has a slight orange to red tone – depending on the lighting in the surrounding area. The grills are not deep, but the cooking surface is made with PFOA-free and PTFE-free ceramic coating, which does require seasoning to simulate nonstick properties. The ceramic cooking surface on your cookware ensures easy cleanup with just soap and water. Should burnt grease or food residue collect on the surface, it can usually be removed with warm water and a mild detergent. You should NOT use abrasive cleansers, steel wool or coarse scouring pads. Nevertheless, the Tramontina Style Ceramica 11 in. Square Grill works exceptionally on gas, electric and regular ceramic glass cooktops, and is offered under a manufacturer's Lifetime Warranty.
